Your fur-baby's next best friend!
I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I took care of my family dog for 15 years, with the last several of those years requiring special care due to his declining health. I have also become the primary sitter for my friend's pets, varying from dogs to cats, which I have sat for frequently over the last 6 years.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an elevator building, so when I care for dogs in my home, I ensure frequent trips outside to go potty and get exercise. Depending on the temperament of the dog, I will determine if taking the stairs or elevator makes the most sense for their comfort level. If I am watching a dog with high separation anxiety, I tend to play soothing white noise to help with any sounds that come from my neighbors or the hallway. With any of the pets I watch, I always make a point to take photos so I can share with their owner while they are away so they can stay connected to their pet. I am unable to watch cat's in my home due to allergies but I am more than happy to drop in to spend time with cats in your home and give them company.

Stephanie has cat sat for me on more occasions than I can count, and I would book her again without hesitation. What stands out most is how she reads animals, ive seen her take care of dogs, as well as cats. She never pushes for interaction and lets themcome to her on their own terms, respects their boundaries, is gentle and creates a space where they feel completely safe. My cats are not easy to win over, but they trusted her fully, and that tells you everything you need to know. She followed my instructions exactly, kept me updated while I was away, communicated well, and left my home in great shape. They were not just cared for while I was gone. I am currently working part-time, so I have quite a bit of availability to take your fur babies out for walks, drop-in's, or to pet sit. My mornings and early afternoons are when I have the most flexibility with my schedule and would love the excuse to get outside and give your pups some exercise!
