I’ve had animals of all kinds all my life. My friends have trusted me to watch their animals at their homes in the past. I know what’s it like to have a pet that’s more than a pet but part of your family and your best friend. I had a golden retriever, Abby, she passed in 2020. She unfortunately got cancer in her foot. She couldn’t walk much and she needed her leg wrapped every few hours because of drainage. After a second opinion we decided to let her go. We had her for 12 years starting at a 6 weeks old. She wasn’t just my dog but my whole world and I’m baby girl. I included a couple of pictures with one going to park when she could no longer walk long distances and one getting loves from her human daddy. Ace and Phoenix were both recuses. Same litter but adopted a year apart. I got Phoenix at 3 months old in 2021. He caught parvovirus around the same time. He fought hard and won. It was during the pandemic so I couldn’t be there with him. I know he was scared. He hasn’t left my side since. Ace was in bad shape back in 2022 and needed much needed nutritions food. His hips hurt from lack of muscle and had to lay a make shift bed until he gained weight. He’s strong now and runs everywhere. I recently fostered a little girl kitten. We named her Lucy. She decided to keep her and couldn’t be happier. She gives us so much joy with her spunky personality. She only a month old so I’m going to love watching her grow into herself.
