I provide for large and small animal pet sitting right at your home. I've worked at a well known pet store for a summer while in college caring for fish, hamsters, ferrets, small birds, and various reptiles. I've also cared for horses at a local stable with about 30 of them and also at a Cyldesdale breeding farm: feeding, watering, turning out, mucking their stalls, and providing special health care when needed. I currently work full time at a laboratory where I maintain the rooms and care for the animals that are being tested which include monkeys, beagles, mini pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats and mice. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Penn State so I do have the knowledge of many kinds of animals and pay a lot of attention to detail especially when something is wrong. I am a 10 year member of the Wayne/Pike County Animal Response Team where we are trained to care for small animals, mainly cats and dogs, during a disaster. I am the only member of the team with large animal training as well. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I've personally cared for various dogs, some including a rambunctious Goldendoodle, a needy Pitbull mix, and a diabetic Yorkshire Terrier. I've also taking care of many cats of different temperaments, chickens, fish and an Amazon parrot. I have a calming demeanor which any animal loves and owners will tell me how much their animals love me and how much more calm they are after being watched. I have a dog, two cats, several freshwater fish tanks, and a 500+ gallon koi and goldfish pond that I shower my love to.
