Stephanie is home full time, while Ledan works part time professionally hiking groups of dogs. Pet care is a huge part of our everyday life! Between the two of us, someone is home with the pups most of the time, and our schedule is very flexible around their needs. When Ledan heads out for dog hikes, our boarding pups can often join the adventure when appropriate for them!

We want your dog to feel like our home is their home. Pups are welcome on our couch and bed and have plenty of space to play, cuddle, or find a cozy place to rest. We supervise our dogs closely, provide potty breaks as often as needed, and follow each pup’s normal feeding, medication, sleep, and care routines. Because we keep our boarding group small, we’re able to give each dog lots of individual attention and adjust their stay around their personality and needs.

Please tell us about your pup’s personality, normal routine, and anything that helps them feel happy and comfortable! We’d especially love to know how they do with other dogs, their energy and play style, feeding and sleep routines, any medications or special needs, and anything they may be nervous or sensitive about. Because Luca and Linnie love having friends over, we want to make sure everyone will be comfortable together.
A typical day
Every day is a little different! We love giving dogs both physical exercise and mental enrichment, and we tailor our adventures to what each pup enjoys. A typical day might include hiking through a conservation area, exploring woodland trails, swimming in a pond or stream, playing with Luca and Linnie, practicing a little training with treats, and then coming home for some very serious couch or bed napping. 😴 On extra-adventurous days, we may explore a new hiking spot or take a dog-friendly day trip. On quieter days, we’re just as happy cuddling at home, taking neighborhood walks, playing, and doing enrichment activities. Our goal is for your pup to have their own wonderful little vacation while you’re having yours! 🌲🐾

Dog care is our full time life! We offer small scale, adventure filled boarding and group adventure hikes, with lots of exercise, enrichment and individual attention. Our 60-minute walk option is a trail/park hike with a small group of compatible dog friends🌲🐾 We love petsitting with lots of individual attention, exercise, enrichment, cuddles, and companionship. We typically care for only 1 or 2 client dogs at a time, so your pup really becomes part of our little family while they’re here. Stephanie is home full time, and Ledan works professionally as a dog hiker, so your dog will spend most of their stay with us, whether we’re cuddling at home, hiking at Cat Rock Park or the Fells, swimming, exploring a new trail, or heading out on a dog friendly adventure. Our specialty is definitely pups who want their own vacation while you’re on yours. 🌳 🐾 Luca and Linnie are our two resident 3yo and 2yo Golden Retrievers, who LOVE having friends over. Luca is our little trail master and social butterfly. He’s even helped previously shy or less-socialized dogs come out of their shells and discover how much fun playing with friends can be. We especially specialize in active dogs, larger breeds, and energetic puppies, but every stay is tailored to the individual dog. Some pups want to hike through the woods and cannonball into every pond they see, and some would much rather snooze in our bed. We enthusiastically support both lifestyles, not mutually exclusive! 🤣 At home, pups have free access to our bed and couch and are treated like family. We also love doing little enrichment and training sessions using things we’ve learned through classes with Luca, and we’re happy to keep up with your dog’s routines, including brushing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, paw care, medications, or other special accommodations. You’ll also get lots of photos and updates along the way, perhaps receiving photographic evidence that your dog has stolen our bed after a long adventure 😴 We have experience with puppies, seniors, special-needs dogs, and oral and injected medications. Pickup and drop-off can also be arranged within about 30 minutes of Waltham. Tell us about your pup, their personality, and what their dream vacation looks like!! 💛

Stephanie and Ledan took fantastic care of my dog, Trudy, and left my house cleaner than when they started. Ledan installed a dog gate that I had gotten, to keep Trudy safe. They were very attuned to Trudy and her needs, and took her on walks with their dog Luca, which she loved! I 100% recommend them!
Stephanie and Ledan are THE BEST! They have been our dog sitters for a little over 6 months now and our dogs are just in love with them. Stephanie and Ledan are caring, attentive, communicative, and professional. Highly recommend!
Ledan, Stephanie and their dog Luca were incredible! They cared for our two pups and house sat for us while our family was away for vacation. They took excellent care of our dogs and sent tons of updates, which allowed us to relax and have a wonderful time away. Ledan and Stephanie are dog whisperers and offer great advice/suggestions, especially for our 6month old puppy who can be a handful! Their dog, Luca, is a perfect role model for other dogs and bonded easily with our pups. They all went on exciting hikes and adventures all week. I cannot say enough positive things about Ledan, Stephanie and Luca! We look forward to seeing them again soon.
We were nervous to leave our golden retriever sunny for a long 10 day trip but Ledan and Stephanie quickly calmed our worries by giving her the best 1.5 weeks! She had such an amazing time and we received regular photos/videos of their hikes and play time with their pup Luca. We are so appreciative of the ability to leave sunny with such a wonderful couple. Couldn’t recommend more!
