To ensure total harmony, I always host a mandatory meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure our dogs get along perfectly. Our home is smoke-free, exceptionally clean, and highly secure. I prioritize safety, comfort, and a premium experience for every guest. Large Secure Garden: A spacious, fully enclosed, and escape-proof garden perfect for safe zoomies and playtime with Spencer. A typical day
Because I work productively from home in my primary corporate role, I don't follow a rigid schedule - instead, I adapt my schedule entirely around what your dog needs. Having my friendly resident Black Labrador means our home is naturally set up for a smooth, relaxed canine routine, but I treat every guest dog as an individual. Customized Walks & Adventures: Our home location sits right on the doorstep of the Pentland Hills and the Water of Leith. Whether your dog is a high-energy hiker who wants an active trail trek alongside my Labrador, or a senior dog who prefers shorter, gentle sniffing wanders down by the river, I plan our outdoor excursions entirely around their stamina and preference. Flexible Breaks in the Secure Garden: Throughout the day, I step away from my desk to open the back door to our large, secure garden. This means your dog can pop outside for fresh air, enjoy a quick game of fetch, or stretch their legs whenever they choose, under direct supervision. A Consistent Home Routine: If your dog is used to precise feeding windows, specific nap times, or needs oral medication administered at strict intervals, I map my desk hours around those requirements. They enjoy free, unrestricted access to our warm living spaces and can nap right next to my desk while I work. Evenings Filled with Attention: Your dog can enjoy plenty of sofa cuddles, and calm companionship as a full member of our household. Peace of Mind Updates: I adapt my communication to what you prefer. I will send you photos and video updates, keeping you connected to their holiday experience.

I am a corporate professional working remotely from my home in Balerno, where I live with my co-host, Spencer: a gentle and incredibly friendly Black Labrador. Spencer loves making new friends, so your pet will enjoy loving human companionship, built-in canine socialization, and direct supervision in a calm environment. I offer a premium home-boarding experience right on the edge of the countryside. If you are looking for a loving alternative to traditional kennels where your dog can play, walk, and sleep alongside a sweet resident Lab, this is the perfect home-away-from-home. I have had family dogs since childhood and am therefore very experienced with training and caring for dogs of all ages and varying breeds. My (very chilled!) 10-year-old son has also grown up around dogs and he loves their company as much as I do. I am delighted to be able to offer a welcoming and comfortable environment where you can be assured that your dog will be very well cared for as a member of the family 🥰
