Mine is a busy household of activities and any dogs we have over quickly become part of the family routine. My work is flexible enough for me that I can accommodate walk and activity needs of various breeds of dogs easily.

I like to offer the dog a quiet place to enter into and get familiar with their temporary surroundings then allow them to meet my children at a later time. In the home, pets are allowed company or space, which ever they need. We do not allow pets under tables at meal times and block off the dining area. We are also a no dogs on bed home. Dogs are allowed on the sofa after a quick paw cleaning after being out.

I would need to know temperament around younger/school aged kids. Also, it is important to understand any dogs temperament around other animals to know which areas to best avoid should there be often crowded dog spaces. I do not have any breed preferences.

There is several different wooded areas and walking paths nearby away from motorways that we would be able to explore for short or long adventures out. There is also several fenced in dog runs nearby to some off leash play. And, if the dog is so inclined, we could visit the local 4H farm animal friends! There is a large open field where we play as a family and would love to have a furry friend join us. Of course, unlimited belly rubs and pets would be given by all in the family!

Hej, Jag heter Stephanie. Jag kommer från USA. At this time my Swedish is limited, but I'm learning! I am a life-long animal lover who is missing having a family pet of my own. I would love to take care of others fur babies and introduce my family to the joys of having a pet around. We have wonderful walking paths and wooded areas nearby to enjoy a good sniff and run about. I would be happy to send updates as requested and am happy to talk about what else your pet needs while you are away. Please note, I teach my children to respect animals needs and boundaries, but any fur guest staying with us would have to be comfortable around active children. Stephanie has a heart of gold which both two and four-legged creatures will feel. Teddy the dog very much enjoyed his stay with the whole family. Regular photo updates had us reassured the entire time we were away. Would absolutely recommend Stephanie!
