I love making a dog feel comfortable and watching them blossom and will do whatever it takes to give them the patience, understanding and gentle leadership they deserve.
Information Stephanie L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any medical needs, dietary preferences or just personality quirks! I have experience with all of those things and I am happy to accommodate them all.
A typical day
I love to make a pet feel comfortable and relaxed in their environment while their fur parents are away. I know this might bring out the shyness, excitement or unexpected from your fur baby and that's totally ok! I'm happy to tend to their basic needs while giving them their space if they want, or playing and romping around with them if that's what they need.

Pet care experience
As a dog sitter with extensive experience working with rescues, working dogs, puppies, and reactive dogs, I bring a compassionate and understanding approach to every dog I care for. My background in handling rescues has taught me the importance of patience and trust-building, while my experience with working dogs gives me insight into their high-energy needs and structure. I’ve also raised puppies, providing the guidance and training they need to grow into well-behaved companions. With reactive dogs, I prioritize creating a calm, safe environment, ensuring they feel secure and understood. This combination of skills makes me an ideal pet sitter for any situation - I'm excited to meet and care for your fur baby! I also assist a local farrier and am comfortable working with horses and pigs.

Reviews

Stephanie was amazing and we will probably have her watch our cats again! Our eldest cat, Princess, dislikes strangers and takes a long time to warm up but Stephanie got her to warm up so quickly. Both my cats were treated like Kings and Queens. She was always communicative and even watered my plants for me. 10 out of 10!

Best sitter I’ve ever had! Great communication and truly cares for the dogs she’s looking after. Took great care of the house as well.
