Passionate for Dogs! Love them all.
I have loved dogs ever since I can remember, and now having my own mini-Aussie has only deepened that passion. Caring for my high-energy puppy since he was two months old has taught me so much about patience and playfulness. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and engaging them with a variety of toys. Keeping dogs active and entertained is something I truly enjoy. I am eager to learn and follow directions to ensure your pet's health and happiness. In challenging situations, like dealing with a dog experiencing anxiety, I maintain a calm and reassuring presence to create a safe and secure environment. I believe in open communication with pet owners and provide consistent updates and photos of your furry friends so you can see how much fun they're having. Ensuring the safety and well-being of the dogs in my care is my top priority, and I am dedicated to providing excellent care and attention to your beloved pets.

Stephanie took such good care of our best friend while we were gone, and I would highly recommend her, especially for dogs who can be kind of a lot. (Ranger is a very spoiled only child who takes multiple daily meds, has some leash reactivity, needs his routines, and can be a drama queen.) Stephanie sent regular updates and was awesome at communicating. Ranger looked so completely comfortable and happy in the pictures that I’m pretty sure he had decided he was okay with it that we were never coming back and Stephanie was his new human. 😂 We are planning to be repeat clients now that we know we can travel without having to worry about our boy!
Stephanie was timely and provided a thorough update. We are looking forward to have her care for our dogs for a longer stay!

Schedule
I currently work a hybrid job and am at the office in Urbandale from 8-4 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Your pet would be alone during that time.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a townhome in Ankeny which means we don't have a fenced-in backyard for the dogs, so we take our pup, Hades on multiple short walks throughout the day and will do the same for your cuties. Your home is your pet’s safe place. I love being able to make sure your pet stays comfortable, feels at home, and stays safe! I make sure to have an understanding of your space indoors and outdoors.

A typical day
A typical day with your pets includes walks, plenty of outdoor time (weather permitting), and lots of play time. I love to promote independent play with their favorite toys and reward good behavior with healthy treats. Ensuring they have a safe, comfortable environment to relax in, I strive to provide a balanced day of exercise, play, and rest, giving your pets the care and attention they deserve.
