I am an experienced wildlife keeper (7+ years) who loves all animals, especially dogs! I am animal CPR/first aid certified. Let me treat your dog as well as I would treat my own-- with plenty of outside time, playing, and belly rubs! Currently, I own two parakeets who live in their "penthouse" in my living room. They are kept in their house while I host canine/feline guests. I am open to caring for additional exotic animals; rates may vary for including these services. All dogs have their own personalities and preferences, and I am interested in making your pup as comfortable as possible. I want to know your pet's favorite toy, walking route, and anything else that will make them feel happy and loved while you are away.

Leaving my senior pup for (eep) 12 days with a new sitter? Daunting! But Stephanie made it so easy. We met and Chigurh instantly took to her, and it was obvious during my trip that she was having a GREAT time. Stephanie had great communication, asked great questions, and even went above and beyond to make sure Chigurh got the right type of food when I packed just a bit too little. I am so happy to find someone in the neighborhood that my dog loves spending time with. I could tell it was hard for her to go: had she not seen that it was me, she wasn't going to get up from her dog bed to leave! A true home-away-from-home.
Stephanie would be an amazing dog sitter because I was her old roommate and I have seen her take care of other people’s dogs before. She treats them like how she would take care of her own children. She treats them with love and goes out of her way, adjusting her schedule, to make sure the pets are comfortable and happy by feeding them, playing with them, and taking them out on long walks. Moreover, Steph works for the Wildlife Conservation Society and is extremely skilled with all kinds of animals. I’ve seen everyone happy with her service and come back for more. I’m sure if you let her take care of your pet, that you would be happy too!
Stephanie was an excellent sitter for my dog Brewno! She was incredibly responsive and also sent us frequent updates while we were away. My dog was well taken care of when I came to pick him up and also seemed attached to Stephanie. I would definitely book with her again.
This review is long overdue but I wanted to just say that my fur babies absolutely enjoyed themselves. I was very relieved and felt so comfortable during our meet and greet, and so were my babies. She kept me up to date with videos, pictures and messages without me even asking. I would definitely have her watch them again as my two pups came back very healthy and happy. I absolutely loved her energy and vibe. Thanks so much, Stephanie!

- I have no breed preferences (I love all dogs, large and small). I do prefer that larger dogs wear a front-attaching harness or head halter, unless your pooch is exceptionally well-trained. I would also ask that you please provide an emergency contact number and a detailed record on your pooch, including health history, allergies, and previous injuries. All owners should complete a basic veterinary release form which will allow me to take your pet to the appropriate veterinarian, should an emergency occur.
