Please note, my profile says I can take 2 dogs, but I am unlikely to take 2 large dogs as it's just too much for my senior boston terrier who is pretty fearful of larger dogs. My partner and I work opposite shifts, so there is always someone home daily, but we do have kids and run errands and there may be occasions where we are out of the house anywhere from 1-4 hours, we do work close by though so if there is an emergency or we just need to run home to take the dogs out for a potty break we also have that in our back pocket.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a backyard that is fully fenced (6 ft). We have a baby gate that we occasionally put up to block access to the upstairs and a door to block access to basement. We like to keep the dogs with us in the house. We prefer kennel trained dogs for their safety and for the sake of our home, as dogs can be unpredictable especially in a new environment. If we aren’t familiar with your dog and don’t know how it will behave in our absence, we may crate him/her while we’re gone. We will treat your dog like they are our own, we hope that pet owners will set us up for success by bringing anything their pup will need to be comfortable such as dog beds, blankets, crates, etc. (don't bring toys unless you're ok with them being destroyed by my husky!). Potty trained dogs are a must for us, we obviously know dogs aren't perfect, but please don't expect hourly potty breaks, we have busy days at times, like any normal family.

Information Stephanie & Jennifer W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know any weird quirks or behaviors your dog has that I need to be aware of and keep track of, examples would be if they like to chew, dig, bark, how often they need to be let out to relieve themselves. What time I should feed them and how much. I would like to know what their favorite activities are and how much exercise they typically need.
A typical day
I have a nice sized back yard which the dogs love to do their zoomies in and play fetch. We have a lot of heavy duty chew toys and ropes for tug of war. I like to take them for walks around the neighborhood. I take my own dogs to dog parks and on nature trails, but will definitely avoid dog parks with the dogs in my care as things can go very wrong at a dog park and the last thing I want is for them to get hurt.

Reviews

Our dog loves staying with this family!

Stephanie and Jennifer are our go-to sitters and really treat our dogs like family. We won’t settle for anyone else ❤️

Beautiful home and yard and felt great about leaving my fur babies with a wonderful home. They were super chill coming home which tells me all I need to know. Thank you!

Apollo came home happy and tired. Stephanie and Jennifer are very easy to work with and keep us updated on how our guy is doing during his stay.
