I began pet sitting in the early days of creating and publishing a pet magazine in RI. The experience has given me an education on care, training, heath, and a well rounded perspective and knowledge base which makes me quite comfortable in most situations and pet needs. I’m especially knowledgeable and experienced with shy and leash reactive dogs from both my dogs (all adopted) and years of fostering special needs dogs as well. I love a challenge! I can give meds, lots of cuddles, and a safe environment for all pet personalities.

Stephanie is incredible! She is a dog-loving, capable person who took excellent care of both of our dogs, including one senior dog. She stayed at our house and treated our home and doggos with love and respect. She is responsive, easy to communicate with, and a quick-study when it came to learning our dogs’ schedules and needs. Definitely plan to work with her again (if our schedules align)!
Stephanie has been a reliable caring and trustworthy pet sitter for me and all of my dogs for over 20 years. She was a saint and watched Lola my old dog months at a time while I was traveling for work. Now that I live on the West Coast I gladly fly her out to come and look after my dogs. She’s trustworthy, dependable, and I believe she can handle any situation that could arise. My dogs love it when she’s here. She’s a great caregiver and I feel comfortable leaving them in her care.

Schedule
I am a freelance marketer and photographer with a very flexible schedule. Because I mainly work on my computer, I am able to spend as much time with overnights as you need.

A typical day
I love hiking and walking and will provide your dog with plenty of exercise. I know not every dog is super active but especially seniors who need a little extra time and gentle walking is also something I’m familiar with.
