Safety, trust & environment
Given my extensive knowledge and experience, I am more than happy to accommodate to individual medical conditions, behaviours and age ranges. I am comfortable administering medications, including injectables such as insulin.
Information Stephanie G. would like to know about your pet
It’s important I know what dietary requirements, intolerances and allergies your pets have. I would need to know any details of existing medical conditions, current medication and your registered veterinary practice. It is essential I have an understanding of your pets’ behaviour and temperament so I can accommodate as best I can. For example, if they are anxious, are there any particular triggers for this? Do they obey any specific commands/ have recall? Are they able to walk off lead? How do they respond to other animals?
A typical day
There’s no such thing as a typical day! Each day and each sit is tailored to the individual. Exercise, stimulation and playtime can be scheduled according to your pets’ age, ability and energy. Consistent meals and bed times are a must, to reflect your pets’ normal routine and keep them settled. Fuss and cuddles are available ALWAYS if wanted, and plenty of personal space is respected if not.

Pet care experience
I’ve always grown up around pets of my own. I have been in the veterinary industry for 7 years, 2 of which I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I also have a first class degree in animal behaviour and have volunteered in animal care, both in the UK and abroad with a range of different species. I currently run my own pet sitting business (Poppins 4 Paws), so I have been DBS checked and have plenty of experience providing dog walks, pop-ins, overnight sits and long-term sits! I also have a cat of my own, who I rescued when she was abandoned with a fractured pelvis and femur… she is the sweetest, most precious soul🫶🏼
