Hi there! I’m a certified dog trainer with more than 20 years of hands-on pet care experience, and I truly treat every dog who stays with us like one of our own. 🐾 I have experience caring for dogs at every stage of life, from energetic puppies learning their first manners to adult dogs working on everyday skills and seniors who need a little extra patience, comfort, and TLC. My training approach is based on positive reinforcement and reward-based methods, with a focus on practical skills dogs can use in everyday life. I also offer optional Stay & Train sessions for boarding guests whose families would like their dog to work on things like basic manners, recall, leash skills, jumping, house manners, potty training, puppy skills, and other everyday challenges during their stay. At home, we have three friendly dogs of our own and children, so we especially enjoy welcoming social dogs who love being part of a family environment. Every dog is treated as an individual, and I tailor their care to their age, routine, personality, comfort level, and energy needs. Boarding guests receive lots of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of opportunities to relax and feel at home. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they are most comfortable, whether that’s in a crate, on a dog bed, on the couch, or even snuggled up with us when appropriate. Every boarding stay also includes a complimentary bath before going home, so your pup can head home happy, clean, and loved. 🛁🐶 please let me know if you pet has any skin sensitivities/allergies or if you’d like to opt out of this complementary service 🩷 Whether your dog is here simply for a fun, comfortable stay or you choose to add training during their visit, my goal is always the same: to help them feel safe, loved, understood, and right at home while you’re away. ❤️

Stephanie was so sweet and amazing with my dogs! I was able to book a last minute visit with them so I could see Uhuburg Castle for my birthday and they made the whole experience wonderful and stress free for me!!
Stephanie and her family gave our Fiji one of the most loving, fun, caring experiences ever! He loved getting 3 new dog friends, playing with endless toys, jumping in a stream and frolicking in the woods along with comfy moments in their home . He even got a full spa bath so he came back to us fluffy clean and smiling from head to tail What a gift to meet this family and experience their love
Stephanie was amazing with Teddy while we explored the city! You can tell how much she loves and cares for dogs. We had been traveling with Teddy for over two weeks, and she even gave him a bath so he was clean and fresh when we picked him up. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Was welcomed before I ever got out of my truck by this beautiful family. Could feel a peace and comfort in just our first few words. Once I got Ms Luna out you could see their care for dogs. While we were out of town they would send little videos and photos of just how well she was doing. In everyone Luna looked as happy as a new puppy. When I came to pick her up I would say she was happier and looked even better than when I left my house with her. If we need a sitter again, no doubt Stephanie will be our go to. Can't thank y'all enough for all you and your family did for Luna.

Schedule
I’m home throughout the day, which gives me plenty of time to make your pup part of our daily routine! 🐾 Our days include regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and plenty of time to relax. I keep a flexible schedule so I can adjust to each dog’s normal routine, energy level, and individual needs. Your dog won’t just be staying here—they’ll be hanging out with us and enjoying lots of love and attention throughout their stay! ❤️

Your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re here! ❤️ We want every pup to feel comfortable, safe, and right at home, whether that means curling up on the couch, relaxing on a dog bed, sleeping in a cozy crate, or snuggling up with us when appropriate. Our home includes children and three friendly dogs, so we especially enjoy welcoming pups who do well in a family environment. Introductions are handled carefully, dogs are supervised appropriately, and each guest’s personality, routine, age, energy level, and comfort needs are taken into consideration. We do not have a fenced yard, so dogs are kept safely leashed outdoors for potty breaks, walks, and exercise. Safety always comes first, while still making sure every pup gets plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and activity during their stay. Although our yard is not fenced, we do occasionally visit a local dog park for supervised off-leash playtime with dogs who are comfortable and appropriate for that setting. Participation is always optional and based on your preference, so please let me know at booking whether you’d like your pup included or would rather they stick to leashed walks and playtime at home. Every boarding stay also includes a complimentary bath before pick-up, so your pup can head home feeling fresh, clean, and loved. 🛁🐾 My goal is to give every dog a safe, comfortable, family-style stay where they can relax, have fun, and feel truly cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
Every day is a little different depending on the dogs staying with us—and that’s part of the fun! 🐶❤️ Mornings usually start with potty breaks or a walk, followed by breakfast and some time to play or relax. Throughout the day we enjoy walks, toys, games, cuddles, playtime with doggie friends when appropriate, and plenty of attention from our family. High-energy pups can enjoy more activity, while our senior or laid-back guests are more than welcome to claim a comfy spot and supervise from the couch. 😄 I also love incorporating little bits of positive reinforcement and enrichment into everyday activities. And of course, there’s plenty of downtime and naps too! My goal is for your dog to have a fun little vacation of their own while you’re away. 🐾

- The more I know about your pup, the better I can make their stay feel like home! 🥰 Please let me know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications or special needs, favorite activities, sleeping preferences, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I also like to know how they do with children and other dogs, whether they are fully house-trained, if they mark indoors, how they do on a leash, whether they are crate-trained, and if they have any fears, anxiety, guarding behaviors, escape tendencies, chewing habits, or other quirks I should know about. There’s no such thing as “too much information.” Every dog is different, and knowing those little details ahead of time helps me keep everyone safe and give your pup the most comfortable, enjoyable stay possible. ❤️
