I am currently a University student who is back for the summer. Because of this, I am free most days, at any point, and am able to stay in the pet owners home as needed.

I will communicate with the pet owner as to what a normal routine looks like for the dog or cat and try to emulate this as much as possible to keep the pet comfortable. I need to know details such as how the pet is around other dogs and animals, what kind of walks do they go on. The top priority is the dog, and that they remain happy and healthy which is why I would prefer to meet the dog and owner beforehand, just to ensure that everyone goes into the service ready and comfortable.

Please let me know if they have any medication or there are any special behaviours for me to look out for, what they are allowed to do in the house (like go upstairs, on the sofas etc.). I want to make your dog as comfortable as possible!

Depending on the dog's normal routine, we would start with breakfast and a walk, followed by some chill and playing time before going on a second walk and having dinner in the evening. Throughout the day we would engage in some mental activities like trying to find toys and treats.

My family have had dogs since before I was born, and growing up I have always taken on responsibilities looking after them! Whether that be walking, feeding, playing, or cuddling, I am ready and willing. I am confident with dogs of all ages and sizes, and ready to be their companion when you aren't able.

Stephanie took care of Scout for 8 days. During my holiday she sent regular updates, photos and videos to let me know how he was doing. When I returned the house was clean and she had even changed the bedding for me knowing that I would be tired after a long journey - which was not expected! I would definately recommend Stephanie :)
Stephanie provided excellent care for our cat while we were on holiday. She left the house as she found it. Her communication was great. I will certainly use her again! Thank you!

Steph’s love for animals is amazing. She has a dog of her own who she loves dearly, always giving it hugs and taking it for walks. Whenever she comes round my house my dog is all over Steph, with Steph giving her attention and cuddles. Steph’s very responsible, kind, loving and would take great care of any dogs she would be looking after.
