Stephanie F. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

While Stephanie and her husband were nice upon meeting them, they had just moved and their house was a mess. I do not think they should’ve been accepting bookings. They were chaotic and distracted, and from what I gathered Stephanie was never home. Updates during their stay were late, rushed, only once a day and I did not feel at all that my dogs were getting the love and attention I was assured they would get or they deserve. My dogs are tiny and one is very special needs and requires gentle care and handling, which I was assured by Stephanie and her husband they could handle. My dogs seemed traumatized and disoriented when I picked them up. They had thrown my dogs’ crate and stuff outside the front door when I pulled up to the house, lost my towels I brought and ended up handing me poopy ones they had laying around to replace them. My tiny special one also woke up with a dislocated shoulder a day later, which has never happened before, and strange timing. This does greatly concern me that he was not being handled properly or gently, and this has resulted in a devastating outcome for him and for us. I’ve used sitters all throughout my dog’s lives- including several from Rover and have never once had my dogs come back to me like this. I was stressed out during my trip and could not wait to get back to my babies the two days I was gone. I have never had a bad experience with a pet sitter and this was a first and I will make sure a last.

Stephanie is very responsive and easy to communicate. I’d definitely use her again.
