I’ve loved animals my whole life — I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a furry friend by my side. I have a 3-year-old Goldendoodle who’s taught me so much about patience and training (he’s had some reactivity challenges that we’ve worked through with a board-and-train program and consistent daily work and it's still work we do each day). I’ve also had cats who’ve completely stolen my heart — my late cat was truly my soulmate, and my current black long-haired kitten keeps life fun and full of energy. Because of my own pets, I really understand the balance between love and structure — making sure animals feel safe, confident, and cared for while keeping routines that help them thrive.
