I currently volunteer at a dog shelter at least once a week. I help take the dogs on walks, clean up kennels, help out with open house/adoption events, and have taken a dog home to foster! I also have experience pet/house sitting for friends/family.

Steph is great! She is really patient and gentle with the dogs and she knows how to read their body language. She handled one of my dogs Lana who has major stranger danger but she knew to give her space and let Lana approach her without any pressure and now they are friends. Steph is also very caring and loving towards the dogs and treats them like her own.
Steph is fantastic with all animals, and has a big heart. She takes care of my cats when I’m out of town and spends much of her free time volunteering at shelters and fosters dogs whenever she can. Highly, highly recommend for all your pet care needs! Plus she is just an absolute delight to be around.
Stephanie is so kind and great with my fur babies! When we first met, she was very friendly and quickly adjusted to some of my pets unique needs (one of my cats needs daily meds, and my pitty has some leg problems and needs very patient walks). She is very gentle and let my babies warm up to her at first and has always provided excellent care!

Schedule
I currently work full time. I’m home Friday-Monday and have to be in-person on Tuesdays-Thursdays. I’m usually home by 5pm on those days. I have every other Monday off (which I start off with an AM volunteer shift at the shelter). I’m flexible Friday-Monday & could do evenings Tuesday-Thursday.

I have a fenced yard with a little back patio area. That’s great for play time or just relaxing. I live in a lovely neighborhood near a school. I’ve met so many dogs and babies just walking to and from the panadería at the corner. So it’s great for walks!

A typical day
Depending on the pet I’m watching… we could go on walks or just jump and play around. But on the other hand, I’m also totally down to be a couch potato.
