Please let me know any particular needs your dog has and what their diet is (if feeding is necessary) as well as some general information about how friendly they are towards people and animals, and how they normally behave on the lead. I am unfortunately not able to walk large dogs or dogs who pull a lot due to a back problem I have. Small and medium sized dogs are fine, provided that they are reasonably well behaved when walking, as excessive lunging and pulling could cause back pain and possible injury.
A typical day
I always start by getting to know the dog, their likes and dislikes, and what they are comfortable with. I aim to build trust and a relationship through communication and giving gentle affection. I am happy to provide play and stimulation with your dog’s toys, balls and anything else you may use in your home to give your dog time to play. If walking is required, I would be happy to walk your dog allowing them plenty of opportunity to sniff and walk at their own pace. I am always patient and never try to hurry a walk, as it’s important for the dog to get exercise, fresh air and mental stimulation.

Pet care experience
I have been dog walking and sitting regularly for around a year, and I would love to expand to more clients in my local area. I have some experience with young dogs and basic knowledge of animal behaviour and body language, which helps me to build trust when meeting new four-legged friends :) Dogs tend to respond well to me and quickly feel comfortable around me, and I always give them lots of fuss and attention when they feel comfortable I would like to gain more experience with pet care, and possibly volunteer at an animal shelter in future I am always patient, and provide lots of reassurance and praise. Dogs always brighten my day and put a big smile on my face. They are the best friends to have, and seeing their wagging tails and happy faces is always the biggest reward!

Stephanie took care of my cat for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. I am very satisfied with her services. You can see that she loves animals very much and my cat loved her from the first meeting. Steph sits for my little fur baby while I am out at work and the time is greatly appreciated by my little doggo, Alfie. She always makes sure he gets lots of attention when she calls and I know Alfie enjoys their walks together. She makes sure he always gets his dinner and also a few treats for a being a good boy. I highly recommend Steph to sit your fur baby and to make they are cared for!
