Stephanie developed her passion for dog training after adopting her third dog, Lance from a local shelter. He ended up having many behavior issues, leading Stephanie down this path. She read as many books and attended as many seminars as she could about dog training and behavior in order to help him. He made such wonderful progress and went from a scared, highly reactive dog to a confident NW2 dog before ultimately losing him unexpectedly in 2017 to lymphoma. He was one of those life changing dogs. Stephanie started nose work in 2010 and was hooked from day one. She is a CNWI who recently retired her original nose work dog Logan and is now competing with her third nose work dog Leena and working on her fourth dog Livvy. Along with nose work, she is our reactivity specialist. She is always eager to learn and gain more knowledge about dogs. She is currently being trained by her adorable pups – Leena, Leevi, Livvy & Lynzi. Stephanie is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA), Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI). She also has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

I would recommend Stephanie for anyone looking for a dog walker. She is on time and very friendly. I have a big dog and he is a bit high strong. She does a great job with him. Now when I say Stephanie is coming over he goes nuts waiting to go for the walk with her

Stephanie has been an instructor for both my dogs in the sport of canine nose work. She is knowledgeable, observant, calm, patient, encouraging, pleasant, gives her undivided attention, and can think outside the box. I would trust her wholeheartedly with the care of my dogs. She’s very loving and is a wonderful dog mom to her own 4 dogs, catering to their every whim! She would be an excellent dog walker or sitter. Having run her own business for several years, she’s very experienced in customer service and gives 100%.
I met Stephanie several years ago through a dog hiking club that we were both active participants in. Stephanie has always shown herself to be extremely attentive to her own dogs and eager to help others. Through the years we've shared experiences, tips, and tricks. One time she made my dog Bear a special blend of essential oils to help him with some anxiety issues. In addition to be exceptionally caring, Stephanie is very responsible and dependable. I highly recommend Stephanie as a canine caregiver in any regard.
Stephanie has to be the most responsible and consciously pet owner and dog caregiver that I know. I would definitely let Steph watch my dog! She is so good with them and treats them like her own.
