Caring for your pet like our own ❤
The Carter's have been Rover members, caring for over 100 furry customers for over 15 years. We provide care for your pets just like our own! Our family, Stephanie, Scott and Devan, offer home visits in the Augusta area. We provide dog walks and 30-minute drop ins. Please note: we accept reservations up to 3 months in advance. Our furry family members include a 3 year old mini Australian Shepherd Toby, a 2 year old terrier mix Mel, and four kitties, Cali, Pretty, Bernie and Trouble, who we adore! We've owned dogs and cats for over 30 years and fostered more than 35 rescued dogs. We have experience with various pets including cats, hamsters, rabbits, bearded dragons, horses and dogs. We managed dogs ranging in size from 3 pound chihuahuas to 180 pound Old English Mastiffs. If you live close by, send us a message! We look forward to meeting you!

Safety, trust & environment
We are aware that many animals are escape artists. We are very careful to ensure your pet is safe before, during and after our care. First, we follow all instructions provided and like to ensure we have proper communication in place in the event something comes up. While under our care, we treat your pups like the kings and queens they are! This includes regular "conversations" with them, playing their favorite games, and providing as much pets and scratches as they'd like. We understand how stressful it can be for you and your pets so we try to make it as stress free as possible for both. We like to keep you updated by sending photos and texts throughout the visit, but will also discuss beforehand what type of communication you would prefer. :)

Magnificent friendly service with excellent communications including regular pictures
Stephanie was prompt in communication before the initial meet and greet. She provided plenty of pictures, followed all instructions for my cat's care, and even attended to some needs I hadn't listed. She picked up on some of my cat's specific play interests,too.

Schedule
We offer flexibility to cater to you and your pets unique needs. Our services can start as early as 5 am and as late as 10 pm, but are happy to work with you if you require services outside of this time.

- Please let us know if you have any specific commands or words you use for your pets. If your pet has a history of aggression, it is best we set up at least 2 meet and greets to get comfortable before providing services.
