I’ve had animals for most of my life. I’ve had numerous dogs, cats, a rabbit, parakeets, hamster, 2 iguanas, fish and 3 ferrets. I just lost my 10 year old lab mix named Boots(and the year before lost our dorgi mix) so the house does seem a bit empty now. Aside from volunteering for animal shelters, I do have experience working in a veterinary hospital as a kennel technician and worked closely with several experienced veterinarians, so I’m very comfortable giving medication, applying ear/eye drops, etc. I have a passion for all animals, big and small, and I support the World Wildlife Federation due to their imperative work done all over the world. It’s our privilege to care for and protect innocent creatures that give us truly unconditional love.

Stephanie and her husband are absolutely amazing. They take such good care of Cinder, and she is always happy to see them and stay with them.
Stephanie is very communicative, sweet, and took great care of our dog Leo when we were on vacation sending pictures and updates on his health and happiness. Having a fenced yard is also great for our dog who is energetic and needs to have a space to explore. Would recommend to anyone!
Stephanie is absolutely amazing. She and her husband take wonderful care of Cinder, who has grown to adore them, and always keep me posted with lots of pictures. I absolutely love her as a sitter!
Cinder absolutely loves Stephanie and her husband. Stephanie has gotten to know all of Cinder’s little quirks and is so sweet with Cinder. It makes me so happy to see that Cinder is in very loving hands when I’m away for work.
Stephanie was absolutely amazing. She took excellent care of Cinder and kept me up to date with how everything was going with tons of pictures and videos. Cinder was happy and healthy during her time there.

Schedule
I currently work part time, on my own schedule, so I’m home whenever I need to be. When I have a fur baby in my care, I DO NOT leave the house. If I have a doctors appointment or need to grab something from the store, I make sure my husband stays with the baby until I’m back. And of course, if the parents are okay with it, car rides are so fun for me and the puppy! I want to make sure they feel at home and aren’t anxious, and I imagine leaving them alone in a house that’s not their home would make them so uncomfortable and scared and I would never want to put a fur baby through that.

I have a fenced in yard and we do have an in ground pool in the yard but don’t worry, any small or disabled pets would be well supervised when using the potty or just playing outside. I lost my sweet dorgi in February and she had several health issues for years, so I’m well versed in caring for any extra needy animals. We also have an extra large sized crate inside we can use if your babies are crate trained or more comfortable sleeping in one.
A typical day
We have a park not far from my home that we used to go on walks with our own dogs before they passed and it’s a great way to get them out of the house and to see and smell new environments. We also have two off leash dog parks close by that we can go to, if you’re comfortable with that.
