I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals! I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs.

Stephanie and Ian were very friendly, professional and were genuinely interested in getting to know my dog. I felt reassured after the meet-and-greet. Stephanie sent me a couple of photos and updates during the stay, and I look forward to my dog staying with them again.
To be honest, I don’t really want to leave the review that I’m about to because I fear it will mean that Stef will always be fully booked and she won’t be free to look after our dog! Our dog clearly had the best time in Stef’s care. She kept us regularly updated with photos and texts about what they’d been doing. One photo is so amazing it’s getting framed! From our initial meeting with Stef, we knew that all would be well and that we would be able to go away without any need to worry about our pet. Stef clearly has a great love of animals and our dog was instantly comfortable with her. So much so that he didn’t want to come back home! Only the lure of food dragged him away. Thank you Stef. We are very grateful.

Stephanie was brilliant and Alfie was very happy to stay with her! We are already planning another longer stay in the future with her. Stephanie obviously loves animals and animals love her! What more can you ask for. I would have no hesitation to recommend Stephanie! Thanks again Stephanie! Alfie is looking forward to see you again hopefully soon! :)
Highly recommend Stephanie, she provides excellent care. Mabel had a wonderful stay and the updates given were wonderful. A lovely couple who clearly love animals. They provide a level of care and attention that is outstanding.

Schedule
My work is very flexible and I work from home most of the time - if I do need to go out I often take the dog/s staying with me along, so they can enjoy a walk somewhere new at the same time🙂

My approach to looking after your pets? With love! Having had my own dogs since I was a child and more recently lost my elderly Mastiff cross Bordeaux, I know what it’s like as an owner to leave your pet with someone else. I therefore aim to make both you and your pet as comfortable as can be while you’re away and am very flexible to meets yours and their needs.
A typical day
We live in the beautiful Suffolk countryside so have plenty of lovely long and short walks local to us. We’re also near a small beach in the town of Manningtree as well as several woodlands - so lots of good smells for your pooch! We have a large garden and enjoy games of fetch or hide and seek in the garden throughout the day. It’s also a good sunbathing spot if your pet likes the sun.
