I’ve been around & caring for pets for pretty much my whole life. Since before I can remember there were always 2-3 retriever/labs in my house, with the more than occasional litter of puppies (our dog really got around). On top of the family dogs, I also had my own for a while (husky/lab). I tend to be the dog sitting go-to for friends, neighbors, & coworkers with caring for their sweet fur babies; anything from walks to drop-ins or doggy sleepovers (both weekday & weekend). I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes & personalities; from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I’m patient, calm, & really attentive to each dog’s needs, whether that’s slow sniff walks, structured routines, or extra reassurance. Your pet will be cared for with the same love & attention I would give my own.

Stephanie was a wonderful caretaker for our 8 year old lab/spaniel mix. She proactively communicated with us about drop-off, pick-up, and shared daily updates and photos. Our dog came home happy as can be! We will definitely book with Stephanie again!
Stephanie is a dedicated, attentive caretaker. My pup enjoyed a relaxing stay with Stephanie in her home (with some pup sunbathing both indoors and outdoors in Stephanie’s yard!). She was able to administer medicine for us, and sent wonderful frequent updates on how our pup was doing. We would love to send our pup to Stephanie again!
Amazing experience! It’s never easy to trust someone else with your fur baby, but Stephanie made it completely stress-free. While we were traveling from Austin to San Diego and spending the day at the San Diego Zoo with our toddler, we needed someone truly reliable to care for our dog, Venus and Stephanie exceeded every expectation. She stayed in touch throughout the day with photos and thoughtful updates, and even took Venus on two proper walks (not just quick ones). It was clear she genuinely cared and treated Venus like her own. I can’t recommend Stephanie highly enough. I only wish we had someone this dependable and loving back in Austin to take care of Venus.
Our dog, a fluffy golden doodle with lots of personality, just loves Steph. Whenever she sees Steph she gets so excited. Steph is so attentive to her and takes her on multiple long walks daily when she stays with her. When we leave her with Steph we are confident that she will be well taken care of, and we don’t ever worry at all. One evening when it was dark, she took our dog for a walk and we saw a photo of her wearing a blinking light on her collar to make sure she was safe. That’s just one example of the extra mile that she goes to care for our dog.
Stephanie is the best Rover, hands down! Stephanie is a super caring and responsible pet caregiver who goes above and beyond to ensure pets feel safe, loved, and happy. Her attention to detail, patience, and genuine LOVE for animals make her an excellent choice for anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. Highly recommend!
Stephanie is the absolute BEST. Look no further!! I would trust her with my children!! She isn’t a passive dog sitter- she makes a connection with the animal. She plays with them, talks with them, just gives them the best care and attention you could imagine! She is very active herself so she’s very good at getting our dog out for some exercise. Pretty sure our dog prefers her over us! She is genuine and loving and just amazing!!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time & my partner (Chase) works from home full time. We're both big time dog lovers! Even without a dog in our home (for now) we frequest walks throughout the day & are excited to bring a furry friend along. Open to watching multiple dogs if they already live with each other or if they have already had previous doggy sleepovers with each other. Happy to discuss last minute bookings!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I don't rush walks & always stay aware of our surroundings, keeping a safe distance from unfamiliar dogs & busy areas. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them and double-check doors, leashes, & gates before & after every visit. You’ll always get clear communication & timely updates so you know your pet is safe, happy, & in good hands.
A typical day
Love starting out the day with a long morning walk, sprinkling a few more throughout the day, & then we'll finish with another long evening walk. No two walks are ever the same so you can count on your dog having the time of it's life when it comes to smelling things. I also live near a park with plenty of fun smells for your dog to checkout. If you're dog is high energy & used to running, I will happily take them on a short run in the morning, just let me know!
