I’ve cared for pets my entire life, starting with my first cat at age six and my first dog at fourteen. I’ve owned and cared for large breeds, including two Leonbergers, and I have hands-on experience with puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, and cats. I’ve trained dogs in basic manners and fun tricks, helped reinforce routines, and cared for pets in their own homes and mine. I’ve also travelled through England, the Bahamas, and Canada, housesitting and caring for dogs, cats, and even chickens — earning trust through responsibility, consistency, and genuine care.

Stephanie was great with our standoffish 13 year-old calico cat Luna! Communication was good with texts and pics keeping us updated! Our house was spotless upon our return! So impressed! I highly recommend Stephanie and would definitely have her Cat sit again!

Schedule
I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I enjoy structured routines but can also adapt to your pet’s needs. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house-sitting, and boarding, depending on the day, and I’m especially happy to accommodate longer walks and consistent care.

Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow instructions carefully, keep environments clean and secure, and respect your pet’s normal schedule. I’m comfortable administering basic care, reinforcing training, and handling large breeds calmly. I also understand the importance of trust — both with pets and with your home — and I always aim to leave things better than I found them.
A typical day
A typical day is built around your pet’s routine, comfort, and energy level. We’ll enjoy engaging walks with plenty of time to sniff and explore, play games that stimulate both body and mind, and relax together afterward. I live near a large park, so dogs get space to move, explore new smells, and enjoy varied scenery. For cats, the day includes calm companionship, play sessions if they enjoy it, and plenty of quiet time to nap and feel at ease. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you feel confident and relaxed while you’re away.
