Safety, trust & environment
I care for clients’ animals in their home. Not only do I respect the clients’ physical space and privacy during my visits, but I respect the animal’s space as well. I am aware that someone entering the home can cause anxiety in some pets. I do my best to read the animal for what they need in the moment. I understand that being with a sitter can be stressful, so I want to be mindful of their needs—they may or may not want to be pet or played with—and I look to them to cue me in.
Information Stephanie B. would like to know about your pet
It’s really important for me to know what makes your pet feel most safe and secure, if they need any medications, what makes them happy, and are there any food/treat limitations. I want to ensure that the visit is a positive experience for the animal and the owner.
A typical day
I think this totally depends on the pet! For pets that are very mellow and get the most joy out of companionship I will pet them, talk to them, and provide pre-approved treats! For pets with more energy, I will play their favorite games (my dog loves “chase” and my cat loves when I hide treats that she has to go find), walk them, or engage in toy play.

Pet care experience
I love all animals and currently have a senior cat and a dog (chihuahua). I grew up in a family with lots of pets so I learned how to respect and care for animals early on. I believe that all animals deserve to feel happy and safe in their environment. I will go above and beyond to ensure your animal is getting the care and attention they need. My passion for animals is a great pairing with my other passion: photography. With each visit, I will send you a detailed report and, as an experienced photographer, do my best to take and send high-quality pet portraits.

Reviews

Working with Stephanie is always a pleasure. Her updates are very thorough.

Stephanie was great, she sent me detailed notes about her visits with my cats and amazing pictures. She started to bond with them too.

I could not be happier with the care of my kitties and the house! Thank you!! The most detailed updates I have ever received, she really got to know the cats and even won the trust of the shy one. Thank you!!

Stephanie took excellent care of our guinea pigs, cat and fish! She updated us daily and took many photos. Very happy with the service!
