A typical day

In walking distance and driving distance to so many spots for adventures for me and your bestie. Lots of rivers to splash in, parks and woods to play ball, and to run around and be silly together. Also so many lovely areas for those gentle, quiet on the lead walks too, getting all those sniffs in. At home there will be plenty of time for toy playing and mentally stimulating games. And don't forget about all the cuddles that are on offer too ?

Pet care experience

I cannot tell you how hard it was to pick photos for a profile page, what dog lover does not have a camera roll just full of photos and videos of their dogs and other people's dogs 😅?! Trying to limit myself was so hard! I've had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old, and I couldn't imagine my life without them. Cocker Spaniels were our family dogs, we had Sadie from a puppy, she was an angel, couldn't have grown up with a better companion. Then we rescued Honey, another Cocker Spaniel, she was also a family dog. My first dog I had as an adult and on my own, was an Italian Greyhound named Mo. He was my soulmate. The most snooziest of all snoozers. Loved nothing more than being with you wherever you went, cafes, friends houses, pottering round the shops, holidays with you. Wherever you were, he was, finding every opportunity to curl up on your lap and take ANOTHER nap. Mo had digestive medical issues so I've had plenty of experience in special diets, and medication control. I will only ever follow your routine. After Mo, I rescued a little Spanish Terrier called Pippin. We also thought he actually had Italian Greyhound in him too, he had these long skinny legs and a little nipped in waist. He had his terrier side to him for sure, but he had all the personality and funny character traits of a Greyhound, running round like a mad goose then crashing 5 minutes later on your lap, fast asleep. Pippin was rescued from a charity, where he was previously a stray, so I had no history on what he was like, or where he had come from. I sought help from a number of professional trainers to help me understand what being a best friend to a rescue dog looks like. Sadly Mo and Pippin are no longer with me, so there will be no resident dog here. This does mean that I can give all my love and attention to your gorgeous four paws, and I can't wait to open my arms to them. I'm really lucky enough to have friends and family who also have dogs, so they are always welcome round mine whenever they need a little holiday retreat of their own. Surrounding myself with dogs is truly my most favourite time of the day.

Stephanie is a fabulous dog sitter. She made me feel totally at ease leaving my whippet Nino with her for a weekend. It was the first time I've used a dog sitting aervice and any worries I may have had disappeared when I met her and she met Nino. She sent me lots of photos and videos and let me know all about Nino's day. I think for Nino it was like going to stay with a favourite Auntie who treated them like their bestest nephew and spoilt him rotten! Thank you Stephanie for being so great.

Branston again loved his week with Stephanie and I think he gets more walks and attention than when he is at home! He couldn’t wait to get in the front door when I dropped him off! Steph is just brilliant and provides exceptional care and love for your dog. Steph also provides daily photo and video updates which is very reassuring. Thanks again!

We were very pleased with the care and attention Stephanie provided for Milo. We were sent regular photos of Milo enjoying himself on his walks and in Stephanie’s home; he was made to feel part of her family. We’d have no hesitation in leaving Milo with Stephanie again.
