Thank you for your interest in my pet-sitting services! My number one goal is to provide you peace of mind while you are away from home, knowing that your pet is in caring, capable hands. I focus on providing minimal disruptions to your pet's routine, so they can stay calm and comfortable while you are away. My specialty is senior dog care, where I maintain a balance of fun and relaxation to help them live their golden years to the fullest. I also have experience caring for other animals, including cats, small rodents, reptiles, and freshwater fish. ~ With over a 14 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and breeds, I have developed the skills and knowledge necessary to provide compassionate, high-quality care. For senior dogs, in-home pet-sitting can be especially beneficial! A familiar environment significantly reduces anxiety compared to boarding facilities, where the unfamiliar surroundings can be overwhelming. An in-home pet sitter like myself can provide individualized care tailored to the unique needs of your pet, ensuring that their daily routine is maintained. For those pets that require medication, I can ensure it is administered correctly and on schedule. ~ I have been a passionate and dedicated dog lover for as long as I can remember. At 13, I became responsible for my own dog, and over the years I have had the privilege of caring for many other dogs, both my own and those of friends and family. I am currently missing my family dog Max back home, a shih tzu and bichon frisé mix who turns 15 this year! Even before Max got to be a true senior dog, I developed a soft spot for senior dogs by taking care of my family's dog, a German shepherd Dexter who passed away in 2025, and my own dog Earl, a redbone coonhound. In 2021, I adopted Earl from the Humane Society when he was around 12 years old. Earl had endured a rough start in life, having been adopted and abandoned twice before, and was also heartworm positive. Despite these challenges, he thrived with us for three wonderful years before passing away. Caring for senior dogs now holds a special place in my heart, and I strive to provide them with the love, care, and attention they deserve during their later years. ~ I would love to hear from you the next time you’re planning a trip! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll begin by sitting down with the client and going over their pet’s daily routine, specific needs, and any medications or health conditions I should be aware of. I also take time to discuss any household boundaries, such as areas that are off-limits to either the pet or myself, because I deeply respect my clients’ privacy and believe that clear communication and boundaries are essential from the start. ~ Next, we’ll go over any safety concerns, such as reactivity to people or other animals, anxiety triggers, or escape tendencies, so I can take the proper precautions to keep your pet safe. Finally, we create a plan for emergencies together, and I ask for your veterinarian’s contact information, as well as any local emergency contacts you'd like me to reach out to if you're unavailable. ~ While in my client’s home, I diligently stick to the routines and care plan we discussed. My goal is to provide attentive, worry-free care and ensure your pet is safe and well-loved in your absence.

I can't say enough good things about Stephanie! While I was on my vacation, she took amazing care of my home and my cats. She gave me so much peace of mind knowing my babies were not only being fed and cleaned up after, but also loved and given attention every day. She took the time to win them over and succeeded. Stephanie sent regular updates and photos to let me know how things were going, which I really appreciated. It's clear that she truly loves animals and treats them like they were her own. When I got home both my babies were happy to see me and for the first time, of many vacations over the past 8 years, my Max was not mad at me for leaving. Stephanie is perfect in every way. I’m am always a little nervous leaving my elderly dog with anyone, but not with Stephanie. She is so conscientious and texted me with pics informing me of all details. Tiger has eye meds and pills he needs and Stephanie was very organized and assured me Tiger was administered all his meds. I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my dog with a sitter!!
Steph was more than I could have asked for! She even brought in her own treats for Jada! I was gone for 5 days. Initially I super hesitant to leave because my girl is 14 years old and has been having health problems, but Steph put my mind at ease! She even stayed overnight because I asked her too! She was phenomenal at communicating, even at times she knew I couldn’t respond! Kept me updated the whole time with great pictures and whole paragraphs of how Jada was doing! My house was in perfect clean condition when I got home too! She did everything I asked and more! Trusting your baby with a new person is tough but Steph is a treasure! Schedule
I am available for pet care seven days a week. For drop-in visits, my availability spans from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, providing flexibility to accommodate your pet's routine and needs throughout the day. For house-sitting, I offer full-time care and will remain at your home and sleep there for the duration of the booking. While I may step out briefly for essentials, such as picking up food or running a quick errand, I always ensure that any absence does not exceed two to four hours, depending on your pet’s needs. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and I am committed to providing attentive, reliable care.
