I chose this sitter because her profile stated that she stays home while caring for dogs, provides continuous supervision, accepts only small dogs, and sends frequent updates. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. After my booking was confirmed, the reservation was modified and the nightly rate was increased without discussing it with me beforehand. During my dog’s stay, communication was limited, and on day four the sitter contacted me because she wasn’t sure which ear she was supposed to medicate, despite receiving written instructions. While I was away, she also told me she had accepted a large dog during my dog’s stay, even though I had specifically chosen her because I was told she only cared for small dogs. The biggest concern was learning that she was away from home for extended periods. When my friend tried to pick up my dog early, I called her at 1 PM and the sitter said she would not be home until 8:00 p.m. This was especially concerning because her profile specifically states that she does not leave home while caring for dogs and provides continuous supervision. At drop-off, I also noticed a strong odor of dog urine and significant clutter in the home, and I was told that if my dog needed to relieve himself after bedtime, he could simply go inside and it would be cleaned later. That did not align with the care routine I had discussed for my dog. To her credit, she apologized and refunded the final day after realizing she had not met my expectations. Oomie came home physically healthy, which I appreciate, but based on my overall experience, I would not book with this sitter again.

Stephanie was very responsive. Tango was well taken care of while we were away and came home very calm and happy! I would recommend Stephanie to anyone!

Stephanie is truly amazing! She’s easily my favorite sitter on Rover. My dogs absolutely love her, and that alone says everything. She’s the sweetest and always keeps us updated with pictures and messages, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats my dogs like her own. I would book her a thousand times over without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone reliable, loving, and attentive—Stephanie is the one!
