I'm also experienced with cats: when my sister and her family spent 10 days in Italy, I came by twice a day to feed their two cats and keep their litter box clean, so their pets never missed a beat while they were away. For the last 4 years, I've owned Hiro, a Shiba Inu rescue from the SPCA; he's wonderful with other dogs, but is reactive and distrustful of strangers. Through consistent basic and behavioral training, I've learned firsthand how to read stress signals, manage triggers, and build trust with a dog who needs a little extra patience - skills I bring to every pet I care for, reactive or not.
