My apartment has a gated courtyard which provides extra security. I live on a pedestrian friendly street in a safe, walkable neighborhood, with easy access to Wash Park. I take my dog on walks multiple times a day, and he has full access around the apartment. Pets welcome here! If making a home visit, I am happy to provide whatever care your pet needs- whether in your home/yard, or walks around your neighborhood. I’ll make sure to check in on arrival and lock up upon leaving.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with highly energetic dogs my whole life (border collies), as well as pets of all kinds, including bunnies and birds. I currently have a 1.9 year old Newfie, who is fixed and very sweet and playful with other dogs. I am a responsible and reliable caretaker who will take great care of your pet(s)! I am communicative and will respect all rules you have for them (commands, treats, furniture policy, etc). Please contact me for walks, boarding, or home visits!

Steph was punctual with her drop-in visits. She wrote detailed notes and was very communicative!
Steph was awesome! She was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs (especially our senior dog who can be finicky about certain things). She provided regular updates and provided pictures so we could see what they were up to while they were away. I would definitely book with her again!
Does a wonderful job! Works with my puppy on training, is on time, and easy to communicate with. I have even gotten compliments from the neighbors about how great she is :)
Steph is a caring person who is great with animals! She has experience with a wide range of pets, both big and small, from gerbils, guinea pigs, and bunnies to cats and large dogs, and even birds. She is comfortable caring for all ages and abilities, including puppies new to training and senior pets or those with special needs, such as medication. She grew up in a house that always had at least three dogs, mostly high-energy border collies that required exercise and work, and she currently owns a young Newfoundland that is in training and is her hiking companion. Before her puppy, she had a free-range rabbit who she spoiled and even took on some trips with her. Steph is responsible and can be counted on to show up on time and follow any specific instructions. She's also a reliable and prompt communicator, so you can feel comfortable that she'll keep you updated about your pet and respond to any questions quickly.
