Dog lover with experience owning and fostering!
I am an experienced dog sitter having grown up with dogs my whole life. We always had dogs in the house, predominantly rescue Greyhounds, Labradors, and Boxers. During Covid I fostered dogs from Romania and Spain, and also owned a dog whilst living in rural Uganda. I have dog sat for years for long periods of time when friends and family, and Rover bookings have been on holiday. Due to my vast experience, notably with challenging rescue dogs who have come from difficult backgrounds, I am confident with dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and varying needs. Now I live in London it isn’t practical or feasible to foster or own my own dog. However, by dog sitting and walking I can still have some much-needed time with dogs as I really miss their company!

This is the second time we have asked Steph to look after our two dogs. As one is a Labrador and the other a French bulldog, it is a worry to find someone who can cater to both breeds and understand their needs and classic traits. Steph has made us feel very comfortable and both dogs were happy when collected and excited to return to her. Finding a stranger to look after your dogs is like finding a nursery for your babies, but Steph was happy to FaceTime us as well as meet and greet if needed. We felt comfortable front he start and she is our go-to when ever we need and over night dog sitter, thank you Steph.
Steph was amazing looking after our puppy! She kept me updated and sent me cute photos of how he was doing. It was our first time leaving our pup with someone and we couldn't be happier working with Steph. Would highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work full-time as a Partnerships Manager for a sports charity. I am based remotely but usually go in to the office once a week, however the day is flexible unless I have in-person meetings. I am free on some weekends so can also dog sit then.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure fenced garden which has no gate or access out. I will be home the majority of the time when caring for your dog, only leaving if needed to pop to the shops down the road or go to the gym, or out in the evening. I live near great parks for dog walking including Paddington rec which has an enclosed dog exercise area if they can’t be off lead in open spaces. I am really active so they can have plenty of exercise!
A typical day
I’d stimulate dogs with a good walk to a secure park where they can explore safely. Whilst in the house have games and interaction, but also make sure they have space for down time and to rest. We are happy for dogs to be on the sofa so they can relax and sleep there if they prefer that. As long as they don’t mind watching reality tv with me. I’ll always send updates and pictures either on the app, or WhatsApp.
