I’ve been caring for cats for as long as I can remember and have spent the past few years as a professional pet sitter. My specialty is caring for cats and senior pets — especially those who thrive on routine, gentle handling, and steady companionship. I’m experienced in administering medications (oral and injectable) and comfortable supporting pets with special medical or emotional needs. My beloved one-eyed senior cat, Stormy, lived to 17 and taught me the value of patience, observation, and comfort care. Now I share my home with Sasha, a shy rescue who reminds me daily of the importance of trust and love in building strong bonds with animals. Along with cats, I also have experience caring for dogs of all ages and breeds — from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and from energetic Boxers to cuddly Yorkies. While I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, I have the most hands-on walking experience with dogs 40 lbs and under, and I always provide calm, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs.

I am a very organized and detail-oriented sitter who follows all of your pet's routines and instructions to keep them calm. I promise to care for your home and your pet with the same love and care that I give to my own. I want to make sure that every time you and your pet are with me, you don't have to worry. I have my own pet sitter insurance in addition to Rover's coverage for extra peace of mind.

This was our second time booking Steph. She didn’t tell us that our dog had multiple accidents in the house. She also did a terrible job cleaning up the multiple stains. She also left one of the doors unlocked (which she also did the first time she petsat for us). Despite me telling her that our flight would land around 7 pm, she made dinner plans and had to leave the house early (even though her booking was from 6-8:30 pm). There were several other house things that were neglected when we came home that we had to fix after a long day of traveling. While the pets are fine, we are very disappointed in the lack of miscommunication and care of the house.
Steph is a great sitter, your pet will be well cared for and you will receive timely updates each day.
After a bad Rover experience previously, we were nervous to use this service again. But Steph was great with our pets and gave us daily updates and photos while we were gone. Thank you!

Schedule
I focus on caring for pets at night and in the evening. This is great for pets who are fine during the day but need company, structure, and comfort at night. Overnight care lasts from 7 PM to 6 AM and includes one drop-in during the day.
