Availability
I'm currently working flexible part time hours (up to 4 hours a day on some weekdays) and am home the rest of the day, so there is plenty of time for walks and play. A typical daily schedule would be: - 7 am: potty break in my back yard - 8-9 am: morning walk - 9.15-9.30 am: breakfast, followed by naptime for the dogs and I'll work at home or go into work - 12.30/1-2 pm: afternoon walk, an hour or more if weather is nice and I have time -2-5 pm: rest, dogs are free to play, hang out in the yard, if I have a slow day I'll play with them too -5 pm: 30 min walk followed by dinner for the dogs - evening we hang out on the couch, play tug and we have a final potty break before bed. Depending on your dogs habbits and schedule I'm always happy to discuss adjustments to my default schedule

I have a fenced yard and one sweet young dog that will keep your doggie company. I do a mandatory meet and greet with new clients (free of charge) to get to know your dog and discuss any specific needs they have. This also allows us to introduce your dog to mine and make sure they'll get along. Dogs will not be left alone unsupervised together. If I have to leave, they will be crated or in separate rooms (depending on your dog's habits and training).

Pet care experience
Over the past 7 years I've volunteered in 3 shelters and fostered, sat, walked and trained numerous dogs. My first dog, a traumatized rescue hound from the south, gave me a crash course in dog behavior and training. He taught me how important it is to understand dog body language and to make sure they have the appropriate outlets and fulfillment. Because of him I'm committed to make sure even the easiest going dog feels safe and understood in my care. Doggies that stay with me enjoy our fenced back yard to play and hang out and I offer three long walks a day, in addition to potty breaks as needed. I have experience taking care of senior dogs, administering medication and experience with anxious or reactive dogs.
Reviews

Stella takes care of Sakie like she’s her own dog. I can leave without a single worry about my dog, knowing she will get the best care and will have the best time. Koukla is a wonderful host dog, too. Sakie came home very happy and very tired, which is the best state for a dog.

Stella had a great time at Stella's, as always! She came home tired and happy, and she wan't ready to leave :) Stella is a great communicator and sends the best updates & photos during each stay, making me feel totally at ease while I'm away.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about Stella. You can immediately tell how much she genuinely loves dogs and that made such a huge difference for me with my very shy golden retriever. I’m usually really nervous leaving him with new people because he takes a while to warm up, but Stella made him feel comfortable so quickly. She took such great care of him, took him to the park multiple times, kept me updated, and made the whole experience completely stress free for me. Her pup was also such a sweet little buddy for Franklin during his stay.

Stella had an amazing stay with Stella, as always! She loved playing with Koukla, exploring the neighborhood, and came home tired and very happy!
