I’ve spent years caring for and working with dogs, including experience raising and training dogs for service work. Through my experience with Canine Companions, I’ve learned how important consistency, positive reinforcement, structure, and patience are when working with dogs at every stage of training. What sets me apart is that I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and training needs. I have experience reinforcing basic obedience and good manners, following specific commands and routines, and creating a calm and positive environment for dogs. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each pup comfortable and happy. Whether your dog needs an active walking buddy, someone to reinforce their training, or simply a loving person to keep them company while you’re away, I’m committed to providing personalized care and treating them like family. My service-dog experience has also taught me to be especially attentive to safety, body language, behavior, and following an owner’s instructions carefully. I’m happy to maintain your dog’s normal routine and reinforce the training and boundaries you’ve already established.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. When caring for your pet in your home, I’m respectful of both your pet and your space, and I make sure to carefully follow all instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, routines, and house rules. My experience raising and training service dogs has taught me to be especially attentive to body language, behavior, surroundings, and potential safety concerns. I’m comfortable reinforcing established training, maintaining boundaries, and following commands and routines consistently using positive reinforcement. I also have experience providing medications to pets and am comfortable following specific instructions for oral medications and other routine care. My experience around veterinary care has given me additional familiarity with handling pets safely and recognizing when something may need extra attention. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, food, other animals, and anything else that could create a safety risk. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away and communicate promptly if I notice anything unusual. Above all, I want your pet to feel comfortable and cared for in their own home while giving you peace of mind that they’re in safe, responsible hands.

Stella is absolutely wonderful and someone I trust completely with our two Great Danes. Our dogs are very particular and need lots of love, patience, and attention, and Stella is always so caring and dependable with them. I have used her many times over the past several years, and she has always been reliable and trustworthy. Schedule
Because I work remotely, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate different routines, including regular walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Working from home also means your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches of time while they’re in my care. I’m able to take breaks throughout the day to give them the exercise, enrichment, and care they need while still maintaining my work responsibilities. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away!
