I am currently not working so I am home full time. I spend most of my time at home with my dog doing things around the house. I have a routine with him that I can easily add additional dogs too. This includes waking up early to feed and let him out, play time in the yard, daily walks around the neighborhood, and quality time in the house in the evening. I do however understand that some dogs have different schedules and am willing to adjust my schedule in order to accommodate them.

I have a cozy single story house with a sunroom and fenced in yard. There is plenty of space for dogs to play and explore. I allow pets on the furniture and in the beds, unless stated otherwise by the owners. My boyfriend is also working from home so he is able to assist me with caring for any pets staying in our home. When staying in a client's home, I make sure that the pets I am looking after feel comfortable and are being care for properly. I am very respectful of the client's space and privacy when it comes to their home.

I am open to any breed of dogs, as well as activity level (hyper active or laid back). If a dog will be staying at my home, I do like to know what their activity levels and specials requirements may be. This helps to determine if the dog will be a good fit with my daily plans for the boarding dates. I also ask that if your dog will be staying in my home, that they must be dog AND cat friendly. I have a dog and two cats who I want to ensure are safe while other dogs are staying with us.

I live in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Seminole. I walk my dog around our the subdivision daily. Your dog would be included in all of our daily activities. When we aren’t doing walks, dogs will have access to our outdoor space. We have all sorts of toys and bones (if permitted) that your dog would be allowed to play with as well. We are also located five minutes from the beach. We are happy to take dogs on evening beach walks (if permitted).

A little bit about myself: I am originally from West Virginia, but relocated to Asheville, NC 11 years ago. I had a large client base built in Asheville before relocating to Florida recently. I grew up with all sorts of pets in the home and have been a pet owner myself for many years now. I have been volunteering at local shelters and fostering animals in need since I was 16. I was previously employed at an animal shelter and pet store for two years while living in Wv. Through my years of experience I have learned to work with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I have experience with timid, shy animals as well as hyper-active. I have the patience and energy it takes to adjust to new clients. I understand pets prefer to be at home with their owners, and know how important it is to help them transition into a new environment while being separated from their owners. I have experience with animals besides just cats and dogs! I am available to look after horses, chickens, rabbits, pigs, fish, and just about any type of animal when staying at a client’s home. Working with a variety of different clients through Rover has helped me to gain even more experience over the years. I have several repeat clients that I have met through this platform and have provided care for their pets for years. Stell did an amazing job watching my fur babies! She made me feel at ease leaving them for a week. She communicated daily with pictures and updates. I will definitely be using her again!
Stell took great care of our dog Hank, who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. She was great with his food/medicine schedule and made sure to send us updates and photos.
