Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for dogs is truly what I love to do. I went to school to become a veterinary technician and worked in veterinary clinics for many years, giving me hands-on experience with animals in both routine and medical-care settings. I now work full-time from home for an animal rescue in Minnesota, so your pet will have plenty of company throughout the day. With the exception of the occasional quick trip to the store or errand, I am home and available to keep your pet company, give them attention, and maintain their normal routine. My dogs definitely rule the house, and they enjoy having other dogs around to play with and keep them company. I have a dog-friendly home where visiting pups can enjoy plenty of attention and companionship. I am experienced and comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I am also comfortable with pets who need a little extra care, including special diets, medications, senior care, and other medical or routine needs. Because of my veterinary and animal rescue background, I understand that every pet is different. I take the time to learn your pet's routine, personality, needs, and preferences so they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Your pet will be treated like one of my own, with plenty of attention, patience, exercise, and love. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, and I would be happy to provide that peace of mind while you're away. I want every guest to feel right at home! To keep our household happy and comfortable, I welcome dogs under 30 lbs of all ages. For my medium and large guests, I ask that they be calm seniors who will enjoy a relaxed environment and vibe well with my resident pups

Schedule
I work from home during the week, so I am home with the dogs throughout the workday. I am also home on the weekends, which gives me plenty of time to provide consistent care and attention. My typical day starts around 6 AM and usually winding down for bed around 10 PM. Throughout the day, the dogs receive regular attention, companionship, and care while I work. They are let outside to our fenced area for potty breaks, exercise, and fresh air about every two hours, and usually even more often depending on their needs. Because I work from home, your pet will not be left alone for long periods of time. I am able to keep an eye on them throughout the day, maintain their normal routine, and give them plenty of attention and bathroom breaks.

I have a fully enclosed outdoor dog area with a roof that is accessible directly from one of the doors of my home, allowing the dogs to safely go outside for potty breaks and fresh air in all types of weather. Inside, the dogs have a good size home to explore and plenty of space to relax, play, and spend time with my resident dogs. My dogs range in size from about 10 lbs to 120 lbs, so I am comfortable with dogs of many different sizes and personalities. I am happy to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, walks, and any other care instructions you provide. Dogs are also welcome on the furniture in my home, so if your pup is used to lounging on the couch, they can feel right at home here! My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while maintaining the routine they are accustomed to at home.

A typical day
Dogs will receive plenty of love and attention throughout the day, along with regular outdoor breaks and playtime with my dogs. Since I work from home, your dog will have lots of companionship and won’t spend long hours alone. In the evenings, I enjoy relaxing outside when the weather is nice, followed by cuddles on the couch while watching TV. Walks, playtime, exercise, and other physical needs can all be tailored to your dog’s individual routine and needs.
