****At this time, I can only accept house sits that can include my own dog, Tesla. She is a very small senior Boston terrier, very dog and cat friendly, and very laidback.***** I'm a lifelong dog and cat owner who loves to hang out with new furry friends. I have personal experience with dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities. I have always been called on to provide pet sitting duties for friends and family, and started dog sitting on a more frequent basis after I lost my dog, Callie. I wasn't ready to get a new pup of my own but missed the doggy time. That has turned into almost 7 years of providing pet sitting services through Rover, and I'm very proud that I have been sitting for a lot of my clients since the beginning. I'm happy to help care for cats and other pets, as well. I do work full time Monday-Friday days, but have a flexible schedule and work remotely. This means that I am around for your pets the majority of the time. We can talk about your pets' needs & routine to determine a plan to make sure they are not left alone for too long. If your dog is the high energy sort, I'm up for walks, hike, trips to the dog park, or playing ball in the yard. If your dog is more the kind that just wants to cuddle on the couch, we can do that too. My goal is to keep your pets as stress-free and happy in your absence as possible, and make sure that you can be away without being worried. I'm comfortable with multiple pets of all kinds or just one at a time. If you dog would enjoy a friend, my dog Tesla loves to help out with sitting and has proven to be a good companion for pets that are missing their families. RATES: My house sitting rate covers a 24 hour period in which I will stay overnight in your home with your pets. I may have to come and go for appointments and errands, but I will give you advance notice about any longer absences that may be required. I will be sure that your dog gets potty breaks and attention as we discuss. All drop-ins are the same base rate, regardless of the type of pet, to cover travel and time. Additional pets may be charged a small fee depending on needs.

She did an awesome job with our dogs, Tesla got along great with our 4 dogs and 2 cats! She left the house just like it was left ! These dogs are happy to have her back ❤️
Stefanie was amazing!! One of my cats usually eats a daily crushed steroid in wet food with no problems, but he got ornery while we were away this time. She went above and beyond with her time and efforts to take care of my furry boy and get him to eat his meds. Thank you so much, Stefanie!!! 😻❤️👏

I would have given more stars, but there was only five. We were leaving on a 12 day trip and needed someone for our 2 cats, one has diabetes and needs his insulin shots twice a day and he is very timid. A friend recommended Rover and that’s there we found Stefanie. She has been a godsend for our boys. She game to meet them and both weren’t having it, but she reassured us they would be ok. We shut all the doors upstairs & downstairs so they had less places to hide, but Grady hid anyway. I believe she couldn’t find him for the first 2 days and we ended up having our son come over and he finally found him and gave him his insulin. She tried looking everywhere and was so attentive and let us know everything. We felt just awful leaving her to deal them, but she persevered and finally earned their trust and it was the best experience /outcome we could have ever wished for. She is a super awesome pet sitter, she sent texts and pictures twice a day. In the end they both felt comparable and safe with her and now we’ll always have her as our sitter and hopefully a friend. Thank you so much Stefanie from the bottom of our hearts. Paula, John and of course our boys, Grady and Mick!!!!!

Schedule
I work remotely full time, so will be at your house with your pets all day most of the time. I do leave to run normal errands, but anything outside of a few hours will be discussed ahead of time.
