The Cat’s Meow
I’ve grown up around a slew of pets ranging from cats to German Shepards to yorkies and everything in between. I love getting to spend time with animals. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing. I currently have two kitties and a pup of my own that I love dearly. Both of my cats require daily medication so I have ample experience in giving cats meds. I recently adopted my pup - she’s the sweetest three legged girl around! I am a bottle baby foster and have cared for dozens of neonatal kittens. Caring for the tiniest, most vulnerable babies has required me to learn how to give subcutaneous fluids, give injectable medications, feed with feeding tubes, learn wound care, and all sorts of valuable skills that have translated to my care of other animals! Recently when my family’s cat fell ill, I was able to provide the intensive care he needed and avoid hospitalization for him.

Stefanie did an amazing job with our two kitties! We were nervous since we'd never left our younger kitten before, and our older cat has a chronic condition that needs several medications twice a day and monitoring her stools. Well, after meeting Stefanie and getting that first report card, we felt confident that our cats are in good hands! She is so knowledgeable about cats and how to care for them. We got thorough notes about the visits along with adorable pictures, and she made sure to spend some time with each one playing with their unique favorite toys. Such a relief to find a catsitter they like and we can count on! Thank you!

Stephanie took great care of my sweet cat Benoit! We were nervous to have him stay in a home with other animals as he didn't seem to like them very much but she made sure not only that he could have his own comfy space that was a kitty paradise with lots of toys and nooks to hide in but also took his cues on wanting to explore and meet the other animals! She sent lost of pictures and updates and made sure he was very happy and comfortable while my partner and I were away on vacation!
Stefanie was amazing! Had my original sitter cancel last minute and she swooped in and saved the day. Although she was already sitting multiple pets, she made time and space for my cat. It was my cat’s first time being sat by a stranger so he was extremely shy but she was so understanding, accommodating, and patient with him. By the end of my cats stay, he was so comfortable and happy to be with her. Throughout his stay, Stefanie also sent multiple pictures and updates to ease my nerves about my cat. Will definitely be booking with Stefanie again and would recommend her to anyone. Truly someone who loves your pets!

Schedule
I work in an elementary school so I am generally away from home from 7 AM until 4 PM. Over the summers and on weekends and holidays, I am home full time!

Safety, trust & environment
My cats are both very sweet and gentle kitties. My dog is incredibly friendly and loved other dogs. She’s not fully mobile on her own as she regains her strength and completes physical therapy/rehabilitation after her amputation but she doesn’t let that slow her down! I will generally block off one of the bedrooms when a new dog or kitty friend is here so they can have a safe place to retreat and can warm up to your pet on their own terms. I am able to keep your pets completely separated from my cats in their own room if needed as well. One of my cats is on a prescription diet for food allergies so your babies will be fed separately regardless. Whether caring for your pets in your home or mine, I will treat your babies the way I would my own! Lots of snuggles and pets and plenty of walks and playtime! I clean litter boxes on a daily basis.

A typical day
At home I enjoy providing mental enrichment as much as possible, from lick mats, treat puzzles, and hands on play time. My apartment complex has multiple dog park options, so your pup will have a few different dog friendly spots nearby. My home is filled with lots of fun toys and activities for friends who’s are staying with me. The kitties have multiple scratchers, a window hammock to watch the birds, and a big climbing post!
