Pet care experience

Professional and detail obsessed!

Hi neighbor! I am Stefanie, ☀ 🐾 🐶 SAFETY is always my number one concern! I want to keep your pets happy and healthy. 🐾 🐶 *Multiple photos/videos provided with every service* I have worked/volunteered extensively with cats and dogs and am comfortable with several medication routes. I understand the importance of a low stress environment for dogs and a clean litter box for cats! My attention to detail is impeccable. Before a walk I will check your pet(s) for proper harness/collar fit and will adjust for safety, if necessary, keeping comfort in mind. I will use friendly, positive commands, take their favorite routes, hydrate, feed (owner approved snacks or their meal if at mealtime), and give medications if prescribed. I will work on leash pulling while walking your dog, and maintain control and attentiveness. I am able to walk/jog to make sure they are thoroughly exercised (physical and mental stimulation), and help you reinforce any other commands or behaviors you desire. During a Drop-In visit, I will do a safety scan... - making sure all windows, doors, or gates/crates are secure, and that there aren’t any messes or other issues to address. If I see a mess I will immediately clean it up and sanitize thoroughly. I will let you know everything I do while you’re away so you can know what is going on, have peace of mind your checklist is complete, and that your baby is in safe hands. Drop in visits and walks at your home include water checks/refresh, litter changes, feedings if at mealtime, and cleaning as needed. I can also water your plants, get your mail, rotate lights, etc. For boarding I can only take medium-small dogs who are neutral to or ignore cats, thank you for understanding! 🙏 My previous career was in vascular interventional radiology (similar to the OR/emergency medicine). I worked in a fast paced level one trauma hospital… — so I can handle anything! I am always striving to make sure you and your pets’ needs are met 110%. ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------- Contact me for a free meet and greet! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon!

I was really concerned about leaving my two little rescue doodles (poochons) at anyone else’s home, especially with other dogs, since they tend to be leash reactive/aggressive. But Stefanie was very understanding about my concerns and arranged a meet & greet in advance of my scheduled drop-off date, and even agreed to a last-minute test run overnight stay for them that same evening (so we could see how they did for an entire night at her house with the pack and without me there, all while I was still in town and could quickly come pick them up if anything went wrong)! Everything went beautifully. Stefanie was incredibly calm and controlled the situation perfectly when my boy came in way too hot and fast at each of her two male dogs during individual introductions in her backyard, while I nearly screamed (no matter that I know full well freaking out is the opposite of helpful - and I 100% consider myself a dog person!). The point is, it couldn’t have been more obvious which one of us humans was the pro. LOL. Fast forward to two overnight visits in, and I’m convinced the doodles have awarded Stefanie’s house “most awesome place on earth”! My girl doodle is desperate to befriend Stefanie’s black cat, and I understand she may have even made a little progress toward her lofty goal! Stefanie sends a steady stream of photos (even videos) during their stay so I never have to wonder how my babies are doing or worry whether they’ve eaten or are depressed. I’m just so relieved and grateful to have found, not just a reliable and dependable, but a highly skilled and intuitive pet care professional. Enthusiastically recommend (and can’t wait for our next visit)!

Stefanie was phenomenal! Our pup had the best time with her, she was so great with her updates (lots of pictures and videos daily) and the best part is that she kept him just like she keeps her pups. Definitely recommend!!

Learning about their daily routine, commands known, likes/dislikes, allergies, or temperament is always helpful! If they are allowed to ride in the car, go to the park, or have a bath? Are they friendly with other dogs? Have they been around cats? Are they reactive to anything specific or to specific types of people? Are they aggressive under certain circumstances? Do they pull when on-leash? What commands are usually used? Are there any diet restrictions/allergies? How much food do they eat and how often? What is their usual routine like?
