Dog Sitting by a Dog Lover!
Hi there! I'm Stef and I'm a big animal lover! My pet experience is mostly with dogs and am well experienced in walking, feeding and giving lots of cuddles! I have many friends and family with dogs (big and small) and love being around them! My husband and I owned our dog for over 10 years and loved and cared for him with all our hearts. Our dog unfortunately passed away this past year and was quite sick in his last year. Although we are not quite ready for another dog of our own, we are missing having one around. I used Rover many times with our own dog through out the years and feel I would be able to care for other people’s dogs in best way possible. I know how stressful and nerve wrecking it can be to leave your dog with a stranger in a different environment. Been there, done that! I want to be able to offer a safe space for dogs to be taken care and given the same love and care that our dog has received through sitters in the past. Whether your pup is anxious, elderly and sick or young energetic and playful, I will be happy to care for them!

Our dog Nora stayed with Stefanie and Raf for 3 weeks and we’re absolutely amazing with her. From all the photos and videos we received daily, we can really see how loved Nora was and how at home she felt with them. Thank you!!
Stephanie was absolutely wonderful with our dog while we were away for just over two weeks! It’s always tough leaving him for that long, but she took amazing care of him and gave us total peace of mind. We loved getting all the photo updates she sent throughout the stay. I boarded Storm for 5 nights and could not have felt more secure leaving him somewhere. We got updates daily, pictures and Stefanie was an absolute angel to communicate with. She really cares about your puppy and is so understanding with them. I can’t recommend her enough!
Stefanie was absolutely fantastic. Her and her partner took care of our large, senior dog with attention, love and care for a couple of days while I was abroad for a work trip. I knew immediately that our dog was in great hands, and communication throughout was fantastic. I could tell from the photos that our dog was immediately comfortable with them and at their home. I would definitely book again!

Stefanie was such a great doggie sitter. I boarded my dog Walter for 9 days and he came back happy and healthy. She was communicative, flexible and kept me in the loop of how Walter was doing. Schedule
My work schedule is pretty flexible however I don't work from home so there might be times where the dog will be home alone in the apartment. Ideally, the dog can roam around or crates are an option if the owner prefers. If I have a client who needs their dog to be with someone at all times, depending on my work schedule, I would accept those requests when I am able to.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an open concept apartment which helps with keeping a close eye on the doggies! I live on the 2nd floor so it is only one flight of stairs up and down from getting outside; this makes it more accessible for walks and short potty breaks. There is a park very close to me which is a great spot for dogs to explore. Crates are an option if the owner prefers. I'm very flexible and happy to follow any specific instructions or guidelines given to us. I'm comfortable with having dogs on our furniture I.e couch, bed etc. I have an enclosed balcony so the dog can also have a sit outside for some fresh air!
A typical day
Your dog will go on multiple walks a day. I live right by a park so easy to bring them out. Otherwise, we will play indoors and made sure the dog is fed and cared for properly. Lots of belly rubs and treats!
