Lake Chatuge Pet Sitting & Boarding
I am NAPPS Certified, and dog and cat first aid and CPR certified. I have an active kennel license for Lake Chatuge Pet Sitting in Georgia. I take my four legged guests well-being very serious, and provide a home environment with love, exercise, playtime, and individualized attention. Your dog is part of my family and treated like my own! My house is a cage/crate free environment and dogs are welcome in every room. I have beds set up in all rooms but I often find my visitors on the couch. I do not crate dogs unless requested by the owner and the dog brings his crate with him. Some dogs feel more comfortable sleeping in their crate from home and it is part of their routine. I am experienced with administering medicine and caring for special needs and aging dogs. I have experience with dogs suffering from separation anxiety and go out of my way to make them feel comfortable, calm and secure. A typical day includes supervised playtime and a 3-5 mile walk. All dogs receive a bath as needed and I will continue any basic training and potty training while the dogs are staying with me. I will never leave your dog unsupervised in my backyard or let him/her off leash during our walks. Your dog’s safety, health and well-being are my top priority. I understand that leaving your dog to enjoy a vacation can be stressful; I provide daily updates with pictures or videos and do not mind phone calls to ease the pet parents mind. We love and welcome all dogs, from couch potatoes to rambunctious puppies, as long as they are not aggressive, and do not try eating our cat!

Amazing pet sitter — highly recommended! She accommodated our last-minute request and took such great care of our puppy. Our puppy looked so happy, comfortable, and well taken care of the entire time. She was wonderful to work with, very caring, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Definitely an amazing sitter, and we would absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
I'm currently home full time and my schedule is flexible. I usually walk 3 times a day but can accommodate extra walks or potty breaks.

I start by building trust with my new dog or cat and use positive reinforcement. I focus on fun and making my four-legged guest happy and enjoy their stay. I follow the instructions provided by the pet parents to maintain their regular routine and make their stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
Pets
A typical day
I go on daily walks in my neighborhood wich includes a wooded trail and beaches. The dogs get the opportunity to swim in Lake Chatuge and play in fields and beaches daily. My dog Jipsy and I paddleboard, hike, and camp. If you're up for it, we'd love to take your adventure pup out for a special adventure which could be anything from a paddle to an island, where the dogs are allowed to roam off leash, or hike up a mountain, or even go on a camping trip! But we also love couch potatoes!
