Please let me know if there are particular areas you’d like me to focus on or be mindful of during walks, feeding, playtime, or general care so I can keep consistency with your expectations. It’s also important for me to know how your dog does around other dogs, since I may be bringing my own well-trained, friendly dog along for walks or outings. This helps me ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone involved.
A typical day
I love spending time outdoors with dogs and making sure they get plenty of physical and mental enrichment throughout the day. A typical day might include walks, outdoor exploration, playtime, and engaging games tailored to your dog’s energy level and personality. If your dog enjoys longer adventures, I’m happy to take them on hikes, and if they’re a good running companion and you’re comfortable with it, I can also take them for a run. I also enjoy incorporating mentally stimulating activities and interactive play, and if your dog is receptive, I’m happy to work on teaching basic tricks and reinforcing positive behaviors to keep them engaged and learning. I do have my own friendly, well-trained dog who will typically join me on walks and outings—especially for longer activities like hikes—as I am his primary caregiver. I’m always mindful of compatibility and happy to discuss preferences in advance to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

I’ve owned and trained my own dogs, including working dogs, and have developed a strong understanding of dog behavior, training, and motivation. I take a thoughtful, structured approach to care—prioritizing each dog’s safety, happiness, and individual needs. I’ve also spent significant time researching canine behavior, which helps me read body language, manage different temperaments, and create a positive, low-stress environment. I have my own friendly, well-trained dog who gets along well with other dogs and will typically join me on walks and drop-in visits. If you prefer solo care for your dog, I’m happy to accommodate that with advance notice. For house sitting, my dog would need to come with me, but I always ensure a smooth and respectful introduction so both dogs are comfortable.

This was true when she had her previous dog, Athena, and it is true now with her brother's dog, Smoka. She would be the ideal dog-walker or dog-sitter for your pet.
