Safety, trust & environment
I have a personal safety rule that I keep the dogs on the lead at all times. Unless the owner is insistant I don't. This is purely for the safety of your dog as the possibility of running into other aggressive ones, chasing something that distracts it from recall or anything alike, is high enough that I don't wish to take the risk. The safety and well being of your dog is of my utmost importance. This doesn't mean i'm not happy to play with them or have them socialise of course. I also have a vehicle which I can use in case of any sort of emergency and my partner's knowledge of animal health also ensures your pet is in extremely safe hands. I'll also follow any safety preferences you, the owner, sets in place.

Information Stefan W. would like to know about your pet
I'll need to know any kind of medical or behavioural issues your dog may possess. If there's medicine I need to administer, I would need told the doses and how often to apply them. I will probably request it's written down for extra assurance. I'll also need informed of anything that could set your dog off, an example being, that they don't react well to other dogs or if they have certain undesirable behaviours which I should be wary of, for both my own safety and others, including your pet.
A typical day
Each dog is different. If you have an energetic bouncer who loves play, i'll tend to those fun needs anyway they/you wish, whether it be throwing or playing tug with toys or just chasing each other about etc. I'll work off that energy as long as it takes. However, if they are a calmer, more docile creature, i'd feel more inclined on mimicking said behaviour, focusing more on making them comfortable and tending to their other needs, while still getting their exercise through walks etc in. This is all of course dependent on owner's preferences.

Vet Nurse and Dog Carer for Hire
Pet care experience
I have been a professional Dog Walker and Boarder for over 3 years now. I've had plenty of gigs caring for dogs and other animals. I met most of my previous clients through Tailster, which is a lesser known app but now do my bookings through Rover. My clients do more of a service to me than I do for them, as caring for their pet(s) is less of a service and more a beloved hobby. My partner, who lives with me, is also a Vet Nurse and adores caring for your pets with me.
Reviews

This was the first time using a dogsitting service for our dog so I was a bit nervous but Stefan was very professional in his communications ahead of and during the visit, it was great to be able to have a meet and greet before her stay as well as get regular pics and updates during. She has come home happy and healthy and I have already booked another stay for her for the summer!

Had to look for a dog sitter at the very last moment , my two dogs had never stayed away from home before but came across Stefan had a meet and greet the day before and it was then I knew they would be in good hands . I would not hesitate to use stefan again and I would recommend without hesitation also

Lila was very well looked after and enjoyed her stay.
Once again, top class service from Stefan. We were able to enjoy our Holiday knowing that Marley was safe and being cared for. As before, we got plenty of updates and pictures. Everything went to plan and we will be booking again. Thank you
