Beyond living with pets every day of my life and my family owns a boarding kennel, I've cared for others' pets in many capacities as an adult. I've boarded dogs in my home, and I've looked after many cats, dogs and birds in their own homes: on both a long-term basis and single drop-in visits as needed. I've also cared for snakes, guinea pigs, fish, rats, chickens, horses, cows, and many exotic animals! I can nearly always accommodate drop-in visits, even around the holidays! My days are flexible, and 'last minute' bookings are more than welcome. I take a lot of care to ensure the health and safety of your animals and your home. I pay attention to signs that might indicate a pet may be in distress or feeling ill, such as changes in their fur, appetite, or digestion. I wash my hands after handling kitty litter and doggy waste bags, especially before handling other items in the home. I'm vaccinated against COVID-19, and I wear a mask in public spaces. I am also Cat and Dog First Aid Certified and taken several veterinary classes. When walking dogs I take all steps to ensure safety, I make sure all collar and leash clips are secure, as well as any harness you may use.
