I work with, train and board dogs in my home full time, so my daily routine is based around the dogs in my care. I offer 1:1 hikes, individual playtime as well as group play when appropriate.

I have 3 secure fenced in yards for exercising and play and am located on a 5+ acre property. All dogs that stay with me do sleep independently in their own crate or enclosure.

It’s important to let me know as much about your dogs personality and temperament before hand. Social skills, good or bad as well as training triumphs and struggles all help me get to know your dog faster to give them what they need for a good stay.
A typical day
We do everything from playtime with other dogs when applicable, to individual activities like fetch and walks. We also have 2 indoor areas with rubber flooring equipped with treadmills and other indoor activities. Dogs that are off leashed trained can run and romp in our large field, but we also have 3 fenced in secure areas for exercise. Our goal is to keep a very normal and predictable routine for dogs to get into for a well balanced stay, either a couple days or several weeks.

I have been working with dogs professionally for over 11 years in both boarding as well as training. I am dog CPR certified. I have taken courses, attended workshops and seminars and shadowed professional trainers all over the US, and am always continuing my education in dog training and care. I strive to give dogs a safe, fun and relaxing place to stay while their owners are away. After starting my career managing a boarding facility in southern Maine for 7 years I set out to create something that I would want for my own dogs. A small, in home boarding option that was relaxing, caring, clean and safe and was small enough to be able to cater to my dogs individually and provide an enriching environment for safe and quality exercise.

Fantastic stay for my Shepherd!! I am so thrilled to find a kennel with such wonderful people to take care of my fur baby!! Very clean and very knowledgeable about dogs!! She kept me updated and sent pics of my girl having fun!!
Artemis was very happy in photo updates wa received and was happy at our return as well as seemed sad to be leaving as we drove away. Starla was very kind and informative and will definitely use her again with our puppy needs
