Volunteer, Foster, Vet Assistant
For most of my High School education I had watched The Dog Whisperer religiously, which helped to ingrain my love for animals especially towards canines. I slowly began to pursue fields in which I could help surround myself with animals and careers pertaining to animals. I started after high school and became a volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Services located on Monterey Rd. in San José. I was working on the side while going to school as I volunteered to help compensate the volunteer hours. As a designated dog walker I was introduced to small toy dogs down to 4 pounds up to larger breeds ranging upwards of 100 pounds. I am located in a single-family residence in a suburban enclave in Evergreen. We have a fenced backyard with lots of space to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. The local elementary school is a 5-minute walk away, featuring its own walking trail and a fenced grass area.

I've held up against big dogs all the way down to the little ones. Each animal is unique. The most important thing is love and respect.
A typical day
Since my own dog, Hiro, is getting older with age we prefer to lounge/sit/cuddle. We do have a wild cat in our lives named Rani who grew up in our house that brings the excitement back in sporadic moments of the day.
