Pet care experience
Engaged & Flexible, Love all Pets!
All of my life I've grown up with animals. (Dogs, specifically.) Before I went off to college my cousin, whom I'd been living with at the time, adopted a german shepherd. This german shepherd, Bauer, became like my own. I watched him go from tiny little puppy, to this massive energetic and sweet protector. I am experienced in most areas surrounding pet ownership and responsibilities. I am very nurturing and energetic, making me just the person to take care of your cherished. I follow instruction well, and I'm also experienced in cat care as well. Just a few years ago I adopted two kittens, Panther and Jaguar, who both grew up very quickly. Unfortunately, I had to move a few momths ago and could not accommodate for them both. I, then, made the decision to leave them in the good hands of my neighbor at the time. Lastly, I am a Sociology student at Santa Rosa Junior College with an interest in basic needs, equity, and how pets play a vital role in overall health. I'm currently working on research involving these topics!

Our pup seemed happy with Staja. She communicated with us and sent photos during the 10 days we were away. We would use her again.
It was weird from the get go. But 10 min before I went to pick my dog up she calls me in a “panic” and says “idk want happened I think she got into it with one of the other dogs and her eye is swollen and falling out” I was like “what!!!” And was like “ yeah it’s all puffy and swollen with puss I think she got into it with a dog” first of all, my dog has eye allergies. If she read my profile she’s know that. Second of all puss doesn’t just happen in ten minutes. Thirdly, she must have neglected my dog for the past three days not noticing her eye allergy one bit. She made this all up to get out of what she thought I’d be upset about. It was orchestrated. And I saw right through it. Let’s say, she didn’t notice the eye , and she heard some tussle between dogs, and she really thought that puss could happen instantaneously, is this really the person you want to have watching your animal?
Staja is amazing and so dialed into my dogs needs, she’s great with large dogs and knows how to handle them. My dog Rosie is a GSD and very smart. Staja vibe keeps her chill. When German Shepherd‘s around people who are not Alphas to them or speak to them in a baby voice they can get out get out of pocket and push their boundaries. That’s not the case with Staja. She’s gentle yet firm and knows how to handle large breeds. Very important to us GSD owners. I will continue to bring Rosie to her place 💜🐾🐾
Webster really enjoyed his stay with Staja! Will definitely be using her again!

Schedule
I work from home and I have a 2 year old. With that being said, I’m up early and my schedule is pretty flexible given my toddler keeps me on my toes!

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment building is indoor so no worries necessarily about your fur baby if they’re escape artists. I don’t have a balcony or yard so we’ll just get that leash on and go explore!
A typical day
If possible, we'll go on hikes as well. I love scenery, so anywhere with a nice view that isn’t too car-busy, we'll go! I’m pretty new to the Sacramento area so there’s ton to explore.
