Pet care experience
Loving, responsible pet mama
I have been a pet sister, mama, friend, and caregiver all throughout my life (including cats, dogs, and fish). Animals seem to be able to sense that they can trust me, which creates quick rapport. I believe all pets are deserving of attentive, loving, responsible care, and I love providing it. Each animal is unique! I've cared for young, old, playful, and calm pets. Some require special diets, medications, or routines in order to thrive. Attention to these details and an ability to follow directions is essential. Leaving your pet in the care of another human can be stressful. I offer not only a loving presence, but also clear communication and reliability for my clients' peace of mind. Your fur babies are in excellent hands with me.

Ratings and reviews
Stacy is an exceptional fur baby caregiver. Being her sister, I have witnessed her with our family pets our entire lives. She’s loving, attentive, and sticks to routines for the wellbeing of each pet. She has watched my dogs when I've needed and honestly, my doggies never want her to leave. She feeds them, pets them, plays with them and takes them for long walks. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch any pet I have. I highly recommend Stacy.
First, I want to say that I have know a fair number of people who are either pet sitters/walkers or who are the people who use them. So based on my knowledge of them, I would say without hesitation that Stacy would be a great person for the job. Here are some specifics: 1. She loves animals. I swear she speaks their language ! 2.She is caring, patient, and gentle with every animal I have seen her interact with. 3. She is good natured, upbeat, and in good shape. 4. She is reliable and well organized.
Stacy is a kind, empathetic, and skilled petsitter. She had a Jack Russell that she did incredibly well with training and care. She would watch my Blue Healer. My Healer was quirky to watch with is high energy and strict routine and she did amazing. When I eventually get another dog she will be on the top of my list to watch when I am traveling. Stacy is a great communicator, very observant, and extremely trustworthy.
I don't think you can meet someone more loving, caring, and passionate about animals than Stacy Riley. It is truly touching to observe her tenderness with all kinds of animals. With her own dog, she is an affectionate provider while maintaining strong boundaries and discipline making her dog, Dylan, an extremely well-behaved, mild-mannered, and obedient pet. She is always so open and kind to pets she meets, whether at the home of a friend, social gatherings, or in public (Farmer's Markets, walks at parks, etc). Beyond this, I've observed her emanate her affection to goats at farms, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and horses alike, among countless others. It's no question your pet would have the upmost care and attention with Stacy. Not only does she loves animals, but she is an extremely responsible person, who juggles her career and hobbies, managing her life with meticulous precision.
I used to visit Stacy a lot when she lived with not only her dog but a roommate's dog as well. Her love of dogs is unmistakable! It was clear she took great responsibility for the care and welfare of both the dogs in the house, and the roommate's dog could be difficult to deal with. Her own dog was very well-behaved and definitely happy!
Stacy has had her dog Dylan by her side through thick and thin since he was a baby. He's a Jack Russell Terrier. She's tried, and accomplished training techniques such as playing soothing tracks recorded to make him think she's there while at work and following steady habits concerning food, excercize, and cleanliness because he needs regularity to feel secure. She cares for animals as though they were her little children. She buys peanuts, opens her window, and lays a few on the ground, then shuts it n says, "ok little squirrels, flme on." Then giggles, turns, and says, "they seem more skiddish than before. I wonder if they're the same ones as last year." If she is going to be gone for new than 4-5 hrs, she makes arrangements for someone to take him out to relieve him n be with him for atleast 10-15 minutes until she can get back... I would definately put my little one confidently in Stacy's care.

Schedule
I currently have control over my schedule. I work and study in my home office, so pet care fits well with my relatively flexible remote schedule.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I am a clean person and respectful of others' property and relationships with neighbors. As for my house... My cat recently passes at age 18, so there are no pets living in my home, now. We don't have kids, so the environment is laid back and quiet. Our neighborhood is full of pets and our street is generally calm - lots of families, some retirees, and some young couples.
A typical day
I understand that pets need a nice balance among physical activity, mental stimulation, and affection. If you have "tricks" you're working on with your dog(s), I am happy to reinforce those with whichever type of treats you provide for training. I'll play with your cat/dog with any favorite toys they may have. And of course, there will be plenty of pets and kind words for your fur baby! If you're having me watch your pet at my house, my home is great for pets! I have cozy spots for lounging/napping. If your pet is a dog, I do have a doggie door and a fenced-in back yard. Additionally, my neighborhood is very walkable, and there's a park nearby that spans several blocks. It's never crowded, yet I do see folks walking their dogs there regularly. I've walked my sister's dog there, and she loves it.
