My dog was given to me cover in mud and soaking wet. He looked like he had just been thrown outside the entire time which i assumed is what happened bc his cage was never used. I sent him with well over two weeks of food for a 7 day stay and almost all of his food is gone. He has been boarded before but never has he been as freaked out as when i went pick him up.

Stacy was kind in person and in text, but the care for our pet was not as expected. When I first dropped Cali off I was prepared to have a more formal talk about how Cali should be taken care of in regards to feeding, potty breaks, and just overall care. This didn't happen. I understand that when boarding this is covered to a certain degree, but I didn't get the opportunity to go over it in person. Cali stayed with Stacy for 6 days. When I picked Cali up, I noticed her eyes were blood shot red. She was super dehydrated to where she was drinking her own bath water. When I took Cali home I immediately bathed Cali, and she was more dirtier in one week at Stacy's than when I hadn't showered her in a month. She had pieces of feces pretty much all over her kennel. I was told Cali was having potty accidents during the duration of her stay, but to see the kennel in the condition it was when picking Cali up was beyond me. I even took the wrong kennel because I didn't recognize it when I first picked Cali up. After showering Cali I noticed she had a bite mark under her chin. I reached out to Stacy and she said she played with other dogs, but never witnessed any foul play. Cali's overall behavior was not the same when she came home.

I was so disappointed in my dogs stay. It was my first time leaving my dogs with a sitter and I am truly hesitant on boarding my dogs again because of this stay. I wanted to confirm no other dog would be in the home due to my dogs trauma and was assured no other dog would be their , how ever upon arrival she had a German Shepard. Stacy was not there to receive my dogs. I had no communication with Stacy unless I reached out to her even though I was assured that I would receive pictures and updates of my dogs through out the stay. When I picked up my dogs from Stacy I could tell they had not eaten due to a significant amount of weight loss and my dogs had gone thirsty as when we arrived home I needed to fill their bowl two times.
