Truth is, I love my dogs more than I love most people. I have never been without a dog since I've been on my own. I have lost 3 dogs (due to old age) who were all rescues and very dear to my heart. Even with all the pain of losing them, I will continue to help others while I can. In addition to my love for all animals, I have fostered for our local humane society and I have also worked in a vet clinic taking care of the animals that were being boarded and also ones that were there for medical reasons. I had a Great Dane, so I have experience with the giant breed. He was blind in one eye and I also had a 16yo toy poodle who was deaf and partially blind (from old age) so I also have experience with special needs. No dog is too big, too small, or too special in my eyes!
